Bonkers Buggy Driver with Rockets

Hey guys. Here's my latest addition to Da Krimson Gob Warband.

It's all Trukk parts. What I did was chop down the chassis about 5-6 mm in two different places. I hacked the flatbed down quite severely, and then used the remains to make the rear part of the rear compartment. I used the bottom parts of the rear walls as straight up walls, instead of sloped like on the original. I had a lot of trouble fitting the driver in the drivers compartment, as that was one of the places I cut down the chassis. I also didn't like the "shooter's well" (it wouldn't fit anyway,) so I stuck the big shoota in the back. Another reason for this was that the inspiration for this model is the Nevada Militia Ford Bronco, which Hunter S. Thompson meets in the desert, while covering the motor cycle race, in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

I flipped the front suspension upside down while keeping the rear one the right side up, and then I used the rearmost wheels as front wheels. (Which are also Racing Chambered.)

Anyway. Here goes. C&C welcome of course.

Oh yeah. I'm really very sorry about the quality of the shots, but they're from a phone cam. I'll try and get some better soon.

Thanks guys.

Yeah, it is quite a bit shorter and overall smaller than the original, so I wonder if I'll have to cut down transport capacity with about a quarter. 8 passengers is just enough for either thraka and three meganobs, or a medium sized burna squad. This of course to weigh up for the slight increase in difficulty when rolling for scatter. Any thoughts?

Vehicles are not to proppa scale so don't worry about it. Remember that real orks would not have big black disks attached to their feet, etc. They could crowd each other, hang off the sides, etc.

Nice build btw.

That was GorkaMorka wasn't it?

Cool job on this trukk btw, and yeah it can still hold 12 probably, i mean, the vehicle is AV 10 open topped, if your opponent has problems breaking that, then he needs to tweak things in his tactics a bit.

I almost always agree with Albatross, I can't see why anyone wouldn't.

Okay, so the male version of "Cougar" is now officially "Albatross".

I think they took a strength 3 hit when they fell off, still hilarious.

Needs better pictures to show it off, as you already said. The rear axle looks a little too far forward, but overall it looks good, nice to see a bit of variation in using the trukk kit.

Also, I think you mean camber, not chambered.

Wow...love it! Been trying to think of ways to vary trukks when I get some and this idea will likely end up being used. Reminds me of old hot rod trucks.
