I'm failing to see the purpose of those figures...

woulda been nicer if they were carrying big cannon shells or something, so you could stick em on a basilisks back porch. I guess they're good for dioramas if that's your thing...

GW used to do tank crew when they had a purpose, what are these guys for? Why is there only one of each (Cadian/Catachan).

I think, judging buy what he's carrying, that he's annoyed that another weapon got blown off the Leman Russ and there isn't a Tech Priest around so he has to do it himself. Probably just replaced it as well.

It should be noted that these are Collectors Range models and as such, nobody should be worried about them if they don't like them.

I like 'em. Good for Dark Heresy.

Swap the fuel canisters for pistols and that's an interesting DH character model.

I like them. They can go with my six old skool Tank Crew.

Indeed, you could give your tank escape hatches, so that if it was wrecked or destroyed, the crew could escape and your opponent wouldn't get the full VPs until they too had been hunted down.

Kudos to Brook for his "I-told-you-so"-moment.

Both models are excellent choices for DH or to me, excellent extra mechanics for my RT deck crew.

They also have the heads and new tank bitz on the site now. The heads look like mongoloids and the tank biz are all the same things you get when you buy any tank.. except maybe an extra knife on a backpack. [not]Oooo, must have![/not]

The twin-cans will be great for all sorts of conversions.
I'm seeing a head swap and arm-lop, for a traffic controller with light-batons.

Fingers crossed for civilians (though they've been crossed like that for about 15 years, they're getting cramped).

I'm undecided on the heads and have zero interest in the tank crew.

By the way, I hope he's not puffin while carrying "full" fuel cans.

I miss the tank riders that the Leman Russ used to come with IIRC but these new mini's aren't bad although they seem to be primarily fluff rather than gameplay type of models.

I still have 3 of those tank riders, I never got around to using them

Did anyone else see the seperate heads that GW is now sellign for guard in the Direct order section? WTF!?
