RDPMMoD = Relentless Drop Pod Multimeltas of Doom
The Plan here is, Logan can give whatever squad he is Relentless. Put him in a Drop Pod with 5 Multimelta Longfangs, and laugh as they vaporise tanks  Add to that 5 Squads of Drop Podding Grey Hunters, and the Enemy won't know what hit them  Now I know I am a bit Melta Heavy here, but that's because my local metagame is all mech. And yes, I know the Pack Leader must not fire to benefit from the Split fire, but he has a meltagun anyway just in case there is only 1 target.

What is the reasoning behind the mark of the wolfen on each squad, besides it being a furry model?
Also, is there a restriction on the wolf standards to 1 per army? Because if not, the low cost means they should be on every wolf guard squad. Rerolling all 1's, even for just 1 assault phase, is a mighty powerful ability, ESPECIALLY when you only fail an armor save on a 1 or a 2.
Finally, what is the plan for dealing with other reserve armies that can 'out reserve' you? IG and Eldar come to mind.
EDIT: I forgot my take on this--logan, 5 multimeltas, pfist on squad leader, and Arjal Rockfist seconded to the long fangs, all in a drop pod. You get an extra s10 ap1 shooting attack, and woe be to any who charge this unit! Assuming counter attack goes off, arjak and the pfist sarge alone chuck out 8 pfist attacks, 5 at s10 no less.

It is 10 times better than a Power Weapon, and they both cost the same. MotW gives a model D6+1 attacks instead of their normal number of attacks, Rending, and they cannot get the bonus for 2 weapons. A Grey Hunter gets 1 Base and 1 for two weapons. So a GH with MotW gets AT WORST the same number of attacks as his buddies but rending, with a 5/6 chance of getting more attacks.

Nope, and I am gonna have to free up some points to put them in the melta squads. Main reason they are in the flamer squads is because Tanks don't assault that often

Keep the Meltas in Reserve and Use the Other Troops to secure the objectives. I'd have to buy a wolf guard pack of 3, meaning I have a Squad of 2 just doing nothing. Also Points costs! Arjac is the same cost as a 2nd Long Fang Pack

Otay, the first thing that comes to mind is no scoring WG... With logan I might have to force you to abuse it. GH pretty nice, but I think that dropping down a semi-large group of WG w/ Combi-Meltas and a SS guy or two would be a nasty unit.
They will just bring a GOOD assault unit to the table with more attacks methinks. They don't have to be uber-kitted but thats just IMO.
The other thing is no rune-priest /sadpanda.
They are SO good at anti-psychic defense that you almost have to have them in ANY competitive list of the sort. Between Tempest (imagine it THAT close to the enemy when DPing in!! /drool) and their other goodies (negate psychics!) they just own.

I just have to keep giving you YTTH links. This one is actually decent IMO. I think you might suffer vs. fast opponents that can range your meltaguns (even with logans your longest guy is 30" at ST8...) so Mechdar could run circles around you unless you REALLY cripple them.

Njarl is crazypoints, and also the Tempest doesn't work half the time if you go second, which Pod Lists really want to do! He costs more than 10 Grey Hunters! I'd rather have those 10 bodies and 30 attacks

I don't think mechdar can survive 9001 2" away melta blasts
So, do you think 5 GH packs are too much? Should I go to 3 + Wolf Guard? It is only 1500 after all...

Oh sorry about the RP thing not Njarl, he is a beast but not meant for DP IMHO. I mena just a normal good ol' runepriest in a squad. Stick him with WG or something, just some psychic defense. By tempest I mean that psychic power that screws all jump infantry and skimmers, that one is the uber. Dangerous terrain tests for 24" in, image RAF LOL. 3 + WG might be better. It might give you some diverse units that can handle a nasty CC unit. giving a squad maybe 3x Combi-Meltas, 2x SS / 1x Th / 1x FB or MotW would be pretty decent. Something that can get stuck in methinks, or up the squad number and add more combi-meltas or meltas w/e. All GH will probably work. Nasty units like TH/SS terminators may be a little tough but you could handle them. My ONLY real problem is that this is a bit of a one trick pony list. You're really emphanizing the whole Logan = Relentless rule, but other than that vanilla can do this a bit better. With locater beacons and their marine sargeants getting more attacks and better leadership, thats the only thing that troubling me ATM really. I think it would do well really with all those damn marines, and would be hard to overthrow almost 60 marines storming you but with that RP and maybe some wolfguard it might be a little better to handle uber-units and psychic attacks. DP's would be easier w/ him and so would running mechdar with Living Lighting.

Hmm, you are right with the 1 trick pony thing  Was kinda the point of the whole list but yeah it isn't that useful, more Nostalga for wanting to use a unit thats been dud for 10 years
