Very nice I like your Tzeentch conversion. One of these days I want to make a Tzeentch army, if only GW wouldn't make the Tzeentch rules suck for game play.

Are the heads with the hoods from the DA veterans set either way thats a very ace way to use them and the paint job is ace too do you have the new basing set by any chance?

I really like the use of common bitz to make these HQ choices. Great work!

I think it was meangreenstompa who said that kitbashing IS easy, but doing it to where it looks good is hard ( or something along those lines lol). This is a perfect example of NICE kitbashing.

Also the painting on your tzeentch sorcerer looks badass. The staff especially

Thanks all for the positive reponses/compliments! I'm not the best at sculpting yet but I'm working at it. I really enjoy swapping up the kits and seeing what kind of unique hero I can come up with. I'm anxious to see some other peoples pics on this thread and see what others have been doing.

Yep, thats the head alright. Those DA veteran kits are a great resource for these Chaos lord conversions - lots of good bits! Don't have the GW basing kit - just mainly use my own gathering of materials - sand/balast, pumice, shale chunks and static grass for the most part.

Kit bashing can be difficult becuase you have to know when to stop. Alot of people want a PF on an IG guy but add a SM one on or think it would be cool to kitbash an Ork with a huge barreled three times the size of the orginal model i.e. ork firing an IG auto cannon from the hip. Kit bashing is an art just as sculpting with GS.
