hi guys, i was wondering if anyone could post tips, pics on painting grotz as im severely at a loss regarding flattering paint schemes. i tried a basic dark angels green with goblin green over but i dont find myself liking it much.
so basically my question is, how do you paint your grotz?

I think a brighter green scheme works better on grots. They are too small for the detail to show with dark paints. Also, try to "cartoon" them up a little bit. They ARE the comic relief of the 40k universe

I feel that grots shouldn't be as 'green' as the rest of da boyz.

I paint mine with a camo green/goblin green mix (60/40 or so) to make them look a little more yellow and weedy than the rest of my orks. With Dark Angels green mixed with Goblin green as the undercoat (about 50/50, but you can add some camo green to taste)
