Hi Dakka *2 ! i have a few question regarding Plague Marines or Chaos Marine in General .

I have been trying to get rid of my vanilla chaos marine army for a long time , but it hasnt really budged.
So instead of stressing over it , i have been thinking of turning them into Nurgle. So the questions are:

- Are there ever going to be any chances of plague marines getting none FW kits? or are they going to be the only option
for good quality sculpts for the next few years to come?

- What can i do with Khorne Berzerkers? Paint them green and use them as generic marine with chainsword and bolt pistol?

Thats all i can think of atm ... forgot the rest of the questions ^^;

I don't know about the FW kit, other than I can't imagine the cost of resin conversion kits for decent squad sizes, but there are lots of things you can do with Berzerker models.

For mine, I've been filing the Khornate iconography off of them and converting them into raptors. You can just as easily use them as generic marines, since there's no special chainsword rule anymore. Or you could just field them as Berzerkers aligned to your warband and give them any sort of paint job you'd like.

Pat that askala, O-H-I hate this stupid state

Yeah FW thing i have no idea. Bezekers as raptors is a great idea. What i used instead of trying to find jetpacks i used vespid wings attached to their current pack.

Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel, its just a freight train coming your way!

SoCal, USA!

Plague Marines have the metal bitz from a long time ago - they're even pictured in the current Chaos Codex. But as they're Nurgle, they're dead easy to convert with a bit of GS. Like Orks, Nurgle takes very little effort to produce a "good" conversion result.

For the Berzerkers, you can rework the heads and cover the KB stuff with GS. Not difficult.

For my Raptors, I'm just starting with regular AM.
