Has anyone had experience with missing parts with FW? I bought a couple enclosed medusas and one has the wrong barrel. Its the barrel for the open topped medusa.
I sent them an email through the site. Is there anything else I should do? Have you guys recieved missing part replacements or is this a lost cause?

In my experience they are completely unresponsive to emails. Best bet is to phone them.

Give them a call Monday, they only work four days so they can enjoy a long weekend. But call, call, call! That's all I can advise. I've emailed them before but then you'll either get a really poor apology or an automated reply telling you to give them a call.

You have to call to be guaranteed a response, but FW has an incredible track record for making sure mistakes get corrected, and depending on precisely what's messed up, they go from sending the missing piece to an entire new kit.

BrookM - Didnt know that. Thanks for the heads up, that will save me some wasted international calling.
Thanks for the help guys. Yes hopefully I will get all new kits. The old ones are pretty worthless but a free chimera is a free chimera I guess

The said that before, took me four months to get a leaflet of instructions and seven months to get the missing parts. However, YMMV.

Wow, Forge World must just absolutely love me, cause I never have any of these problems you guys complain about. The only time(yes, ONE) I had a miscast part, I e-mailed them, got a response SAME DAY, and had the part in 3-4 days(this was when I was living in California). I ordered some stuff last Thursday(at around 1:30 PM Mountain time) from them, everything but the Brass Scorpion I ordered(paper in the order said it was back ordered) arrived on Monday, no miscasts or missing parts. So, I sit back and expect my Brass Scorpion in a few weeks(month at most). I arrive home Thursday night from class to find a package sitting on the dining room table for me containing a certain "back ordered" model.
I remain constantly bewildered everyone else experiences such terrible occurrences as every time I've ordered from them, the order arrives sooner than expected with no problems other than some slight warpage to thin parts.

I have been ordering from them and have no problems so far. I am in afghanistan and still get my stuff in less then a month. I had stuff sent to my house and usually takes about a week. Now my friend who lives two doors down doesn't have the same luck. He has two items from two different orders that he has never recieved. I think sometimes its what you order and when you order it. Now saying that my next order is going to take forever to arrive LOL.

Never had any problems with them.
Once had a missing stabiliser for a firestorm that I didn't notice for 6 months as it sat in the packet.
I callled them up and they sent me out a new pair no questions asked.
I did order a titan at the same time though.

But yeah. They'll fix everything up for you nice and neat. The email is very very very hit/miss. They're getting better, however, as they're hiring more people to manage their email/order systems.
