Ok, so a few months back I move into a house with a few other room-mates.

There was a lot of warhammer stuff in the basement, but all stuff I've seen before.

Except this one seemingly Nid model. It's basically a half "submerged" sand slug looking monstrosity, with what looks like a gigantic venom cannon coming out of it's back.

Does anyone have any idea what this model is? My experience with the hobby only goes back 6 years and I fear I'm not veteran enough to be able to remember this thing.

When you call an intimate moment with your partner "the Assault Phase"

Is that followed by a pile-in move?

That brings a whole new meaning to the term "Hit and Run"

Can that be following a deep strike, or do you have to wait until the next round?

If there's a lot of old 40K stuff lying around, me and many other people no doubt would like to plunder that collection, if you can get a list up of what there is.

Thanks a lot guys, and Luna. That's definitely the model.

Mattlov - I'll check with the current owner to see if he wants to keep it.

Anarchyman99 - Well, thanks to your pictures, I also seemingly have a Malefactor downstairs too.

Thanks all for helping me ID these models.

That thing next to the building must be the old CareBearifex model.

Armorcast made a lot of pretty bad models.

Maybe it's a new version of the lictor, sacrificing stealth for the appearance of cuddly innocence. It loses the scything talons but gains a 3+ "too cute to shoot at" invulnerable save. Probably has an implant attack tongue just to be extra creepy.

The above post is the express opinion of the author and does not necessarily represent the opinion of any rational sentient being. Any resemblance to credible cogitation is purely coincidental. Also, he likes using the little pictures.
