I've been considering doing an army of this sorts for quite some time now. As I was trying to put this list together I didn't know whether to use bikes of icons in Rhinos. Thus I have come here. So...
What is the best way to deliver a Daemon Bomb?
AND
What else to these lists often feature (besides Daemons)?
Thanks all!

Well, its not nearly as effective as it use to be. But you can still do it.
Either turbo-boosting bikes, or Smoke Popping LRs seem like they would work.

Space wolves. I mean they don't have Breath of Chaos or 24" str8 ap1 shots but they do get relentless multi-meltas, Bolter/melta/plasma guns, an extremely large potential for cheap combi-weapons annnnd ofcourse a very heft hit in close-combat. From massed str4 hits with sprinkles of rending and power weapon attacks and a boot load of power-fist attacks aswell. All of the above in drop-pods. Ka-Bomb.

Daemonbomb still works pretty well with rhinos. You need at least 3, 4 is better, with smallish squads of melta marines (plagues or CSM) to open enemy vehicles.
Daemon packs should be big--12 models minimum, but the numbers really turn in your favor at about 14-15. That gives you enough attacks to win your combat resolutions for more than one round. Small units of daemons just disintegrate without doing anything useful.

The sizes to make the most of lesser daemons' charge?
Assuming regualar based daemons (1 inch ones):
8 is minimum to get the second ring.
20 is the minimum to get the third ring.
Anything in the middle just adds to the overall ability and lateral charge range of the unit, not the maximum distance.
Now you can be an innocent benefitor or a complete dick and start using daemons with differe sized bases...that I will not address.

If it's daemon bomb, I can only suggest 20 man squads at the 2000 points level. Anything under and you don't have enough points for supporting elements, while at the same time at 2000 the investment in 20 lesser daemos is 'not that bad'.
2 Squads of these and some rhino squads and you are good.
Bikers have the problem of being cost inefficient.
Chosen have problems with Dawn of War and survivability.
Rhino squads are dependable, and you need too if 500 points of stuff relies on those icons to get there.
In addition, the daemonbomb of today is very much anti-horde and tarpitting roles, it's not a fine a scalpel as it was in the past, it is now just a hammer.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

But don't get you your compulsory troops. I agree with Flavius, for the most part, though I've had a bit of success with 8-10 model daemon units. Bigger is generally better, however.

It's cooler if you can see past taking 4 and taking only 2 and using a Troops FoC instead of a Hvy slot.
So you have a scoring unit, more FoC Hvy slots for oblits/defiler/vindis, and are able to start on the board in DoW for closer summoning.
I don't know, but if you go with Chaos Space Marines in a rhino with special weapons.... go with chosen and outflank them. Else, take regular CSM troops instead IMO.
