Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows what the prizes this year for 'Ard Boyz Semi-Finals and Finals are going to be. What were they last year? Thanks in advance!

If it helps the top 3 in the 40k semis where as follows:

1st: 2500point army of your choosing (you choose the army, they choose what units you got, 2500pts without upgrades)
2nd: $100 Online voucher
3rd: $50 or $60 online voucher

I gots me a shiney new daemon army out of the deal.

3rd for the semi's was $75. As for the Fantasy, mortevie's link indicates a 3000 point army for the Semi winner, and undisclosed vouchers for 2nd and 3rd. Just in case anybody didn't want to go read.

Great games and opponents or not, I think after the prize support from 40k was revealed, there won't be much of a Fantasy turnout for the finals. Arguing over whether or not that's the right way to do it isn't going to achieve anything though, as the discussion on the lackluster prize support vs "honor of winning and having fun" has been done to death in another thread (http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/257377.page).

So let's not go there again... (as in, I'm 99% certain that I would not go back to play in Chicago again this year even if I make a miracle happen at the semi's. Just not worth the flight to me, when I'm not running a "top-tier" army anyway).
