is there any way to find a metal set for the dire avengers or say a normal guardian squad?
im particularly fond of the metal figures and so far my entire army consisits of metal figure entirely. the plastic one just seen a little bit cheap for the money it costs to have to order them to Thailand. Yes they do not sell any GW merchandise here except maybe the books and codex's.
its sad enough to make one cry
and its such a shame the vehicles dont come as metal figures, i mean how cool would it be to have a full metal wraith lord or one of the space marine tanks for example. Automatically Appended Next Post: but thats just me

You'll hate the Fire Prism then
Metal vehicles are bad, but still better than hybrids.
I guess you could look around for the old metal ones, there were some but they don't really make them anymore.
The old Wraithlord was metal as well.
Good luck

Ebay and trading sites basically, you probably won't get them new from GW.

Metal Dire Avengers and metal WraithLords should be easy to find - both have been out of print for only a few years. Metal Guardians are a different story - even in 2nd ed there were plastic Guardians. You'll need to find collections from 10-15 years ago to get the Guardians.

You can find the odd metal guardian on eBay UK; problem is they have meltas / las weapons etc.
And they look a little funny.
Funny you do Eldar as we have one of the highest percentages of metal models imo.

thats true, ive looked through the GW's site, most Eldar characters are metal save the odd box set. Personally ill order the blister packs, with two miniatures per pack.
only problem is they come random. but otherwise im happy with the metal figures.
guess though ill have to be happy with the plastic ones if im ever going to play again, my army still needs another troop, but im debating between adding a dire avenger squad over the guardians. i havent heard good thing bout the storm guardians so dont think ill include them though the do look a tad better than the normal guardians imo.
but ya if i have to use the old model which do look a tad odd then plastic will do just fine
