Im not to sure that in a 2000 point list, 90 boyz (not including lootas) will do the trick. So many people will be dropping massive amounts of pie plates on you that im afraid you will lose a LOT of boyz.

I wouldnt run the Deff Dreads. Instead, i would get another unit of 30 Boyz. They will def. help you more than those dreads will.

In your slugga boyz, take out the rockets and anything that would make them shooty. You want to run every turn so you can get them into CC as fast as possible. I would actually suggest making all of your boyz sluggas since you already have the Lootas to do the shooting. That way you can run every turn and get stuck into CC that much sooner. Then your boyz are out of the way of pie plates and other things that can take them out.

Your HQs are good. I would say find a way to get Ghazzy in there just because his waaaaaghhhh will allow you to assault on turn 2 almost always. Hes a beast in CC and hes just overall amazing. But your 2 KFF Mechs will do the trick for this style of army.

Final Note: You just need 1 more squad of Boyz, drop the Dreads, change the boyz to sluggas. Also, i wouldnt worry about bosspoles when you have a squad of 30. I never use them and i do fine without them. If you drop that and the rockets, your unit will be 215 points and thats with the nob w/PK.

the lootas always pay for themselfs if you use them with shoota boys or slugga boys. i find shoota boyz work better when fighting nids, orks, chaos demons, chaos sm, eldar, dark eldar, tau, space wolfs, black temps and blood angles.
i know there are alot of space marines armys out, but slugga boyz only work better on SM, IG and necrons
i only use 6 killa kans because noone will play me with 9 any more so keep 9 if your friend still play you.
The 2 deff dread is just a little to much. no one can stop that many walkers.

Its your call man. If you will have more fun running the dreads and stuff then go for it. Just giving you a little more of a competitive list that would do better if you were to enter a tourney.

Run the dreads and see if you like them. If not, get another squad of Boyz. Happy Killing =)

I like to just keep the Deff Dread as cheap as possible with either 2xSkorcha (Short range but will wipe a unit with an assault and possibly deny you the assault) or 2x Big Shoota (No incentive to run)

deffkopta are cool and i use them (only because i have not replaced them yet). but in this army they will be so far out in front they will just be easy kill points for your opponent. then if you keep them back with your walkers they are just more rokkits when you will have 9 with out them. lol for the 90 points you could run a looted wagon so you could drop pie plates but thats all up to you.

I would take the power klaw off. On the charge, a Big Mek has an Initiative of 5. With a burna, he now has a power weapon as well. Swap out the PK for the burna. In addition, these Meks need some protection. At the very least give them Cybork, and if you have the points 'Eavy Armor.

Take out the Rokkits. Sluggas should be running in the shooting phase, not taking a 1 in 3 chance that they'll hit something with shooting This is points you can use towards your Big Meks protection.

You're only weakness here is getting outmanouvred, which is where Land Raiders might give you a hard time. The nice thing is, if you have objectives, park the Deff Dreads on them. They'll have to come get that control point sooner or later, and you'll have a big bag of hurt waiting

You have a nice amount of Dakka, and with all the Big Shootas you should have range to just about anything on the board. My only concern is the slowness of the Kanz, and the range on the Grotzooka only being 18". Try it though, it looks like fun!

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

Well done and not cheesy. Looks perfectly fine for an intended footloggy dreadmob, although converting the sluggas to shootas and adding a big shoota fer every ten wud be a plus no doubt.

Personally i prefer shootas to sluggas, slugga boyz are good in trukks but shootas can really hurt MEQ badly, hmm you might wanna take some different weapons on the kans dont get me wrong grotzookas are great but you might want a zooka and rokkits as rokkits can help with your anti-tank while shootas plow down some enemy infantry. hope this helped
