My review of the Gw paint gun..... The first three pics are of the separete parts and the next three of assembly, the last three are of the paint pot ready to go, the first test and how much a paint pot gets you. The air proppellent has a removable screw valve that allows you to disconnect it all. Paint ratio on my test was 1:4 although GW pot guidelines say 2:1 water to paint. I reccomend you clean it as the small components are easily clogged. Overall it works well and has a good fan pattern with few splatters, Along with advantages over spray cans in that that you can change colours easily, and a more focused spray area. But because of the proppellent cost being almost the same as a spray can and GW paint being nearly £2.50 GBP you might as well get a proffesional airbrush with compressor or standerd spray paint, the only way it makes sense is if viewed as a "halfway point" between spray can and airbrush.

Intresting side note: due to the flammable nature of the proppellent, and the metal cap, you could stick petrol in the pot wire up a ignition and voila!
real flamer [may kill you........]

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House! |

You would most likely be better off with a decent airbrush and a compressor because the prop can last as long as a standerd spray can.
Overall as said its a halfway measure, but basicaly the "fan" is from very small to about a two inch diameter, and if you fill up a pot it will on substain last for around 30-45 seconds. There is no pressure adjust.

Oo... ya I have a aztec set and a testors compressor I got for a solid price of $100.00 bucks. Great for use on tanks and what not I will admit.

A spray can will do the job just as well, but with a little less style. [If you could call it that]
