Hi, can anyone tell me if forge world made rules for the thunderhawk for normal games not apoc and if they did which book are they in? thanking you in advance.

They were in Imperial Armour Vol. 2. However, there has been a PDF update of the book that changes the Thunderhawk to fit the Apoc rules(as they've done with all of their Super Heavies). Aside from that, to use the older rules, you need to play a game large enough to take multiple Force Organization charts as pre-Apoc Super Heavies used their own Force Org of 1-3 Super Heavy Vehicles of the SAME Chassis(so 1-3 Thunderhawks or 1-3 Baneblades/Shadowswords/etc.).

If your opponent agrees to allow you to use the older rules(I doubt it, because Fliers are extremely unbalanced in non-Apoc 40K) and you want to play with multiple Force Orgs, go ahead. However, since you'll generally be playing multiple force orgs past 2000 points to begin with, you may as well just play Apocalypse.
