Was thinking of starting up a witch hunter/daemon hunter allied army.
Bearing in mind the following would you say they are viable:

Games will be played non competively amongst my friends gaming group. Aiming for amybe 1500 points.
Opponents will be pretty much all other available armies.
I dont really like the SoB eliment of these armies and would prefer to leave them out - however would this handicap/limit the army?
What % would people recommend being witch vs daemons?
Cost isnt a major issue although I see some of their boxed sets are slightly more expensive :(
Are the current codexes up for a redo any time soon?

The best thing abotu Inquisitorial armies is that you can incorporate them into any army existing loyalist army you already have. This allows you to keep the changes minimal if you have an army that's already functional but could use that little bit more Oomph!
