Does anybody have any really cool paint schemes/ideas for a Chaos Daemon Army? Also what are different ways to achieve grittier looking effects, or by the same token have a bright colorful paint scheme and not have it look completely childish or too over the top?

Making no mistakes is what establishes the certainty of victory, for it means conquering an enemy that is already defeated.

Hot pink base paint.

Followed by heavy weathering and lots of rust

Yay for hot pink! And yeah, everyone really loves grim dark... but do they every think of switching it up - or is it just all evil all the time?

Chaos Daemon suits well with Slaneesh if you prefer pink or purple .

Ive never seen a white daemon, apart from flamers, which look quite good. From the white main colour, you could have other colours blending in well, as white goes with pretty much everything.

Sorry for the big pic, but it kinda illustrates what im thinking.
Also, your name is one "l" away from mine. creepy.

Armies Owned: Iron Warriors, Tau

Undead Titan Log
Malfred: Terminator Armor has always had room for extra boobage.
Drake_Marcus: It's true- that's why the Space Wolves love termie armour so much. The whole "bear" thing they've got going on is just a thinly veiled cover-up of their huge, hairy cleavage.

Well i can suggest some things for Slaanesh seeing as you're a fan.

Things like this: http://www.coolminiornot.com/208712 can be done with just a white primer and just washes to get the main colour.

If you wanna do something special, dirtier and more of a challenge a scheme like this http://www.coolminiornot.com/192064 would be great. Though the colours aren't exactly 'Slaaneshy' they look great. A simpler version is very doable.

Overall just some inspiration i guess.

Kinda looks like a Street Fighter II character called t.w.e.l.v.e.

Yeah blinky you should try it - the purple/white blending looks awesome! Also it is kinda creepy our names are so similar but your probably has some kind of significance, mine doesn't really.

And thanks for the Slaanesh pics, I also like the Tzeench and Khorne too, but the black/red hellfire schema has become waay too overdone. I would like to see a barbie colored Bloodletter or perhaps sunshine yellow for a change. Bet that would be so distracting in a game, you'd win everytime.
