dd 3x scroll - tempted to drop my offensive magic phase (lvl4, silverwand, BOS) and a level to pick up annullian crystal, another
DP and Ellyrion Banner, 5dd, 3x scrolls and -1 pool pd to them should be a good enough magic defense. Maybe go from
DA to HA on noble to get another champ.
My shooting shoots at their shooting/mages and i am good at killing everything but dwarves. kills 9 t3 5+ save (
DE Repeater Bows w/shield/Dark Riders), or 7 t4 5+ save (Thunderers w/shield). Against weaker obviously does better and hopefully can cause panic tests on 2 units. I should say i am still ridiculously weak against shooting but that is one of the downsides of this list that i am prepared to accept.
Offensive magic list has same magic defense, but also 1-3 more PD for about the same cost as your mages (10 points more). Defensive magic list has more defense (+1dd, them -1pd), 1 less pd, less spell utility (2 dice shield, 3 dice drain), significantly cheaper (45 points)
A further change could be removing the eagle, to give the DP Champion the Bound Vaul's Unmaking Ring, this works great for dealing with the ring of Hotek, or any of a number of irritating items, remember it also destroys magic banners.
Dont think you are allowed to give
DP champ an arcane item.
