So Englhockey and I were making a trade and shipping everything out on Monday Nov, 9th. As soon as I mailed the Item out, communication stopped. He received the item that I had shipped that Thursday and I havent heard from him since.

I shipped:
1x Defiler
All the spare bits

He was supposed to ship:
4x Mega Armored Nobz
1x Mek w/ Shock attack gun
1x Mek w/ KFF
1x Deff Dread

Does anyone know where I go from here? I know it hasnt been to long since the ship date but it still worries me considering my package was delivered to him thursday and he wont get back to any of my messages. Thanks Dakka.

Yeah thats normally how you can tell a bad trader, communication immediately stops as soon as you send. I'd work with calling his local PD and possibly getting the police in on it, its considered theft if you send him something and receive nothing in return! I always keep every e-mail and PM from every trade until its 100% completed, with both sides getting their deal. I check up on the person daily until they recieve my package, for better or for worse.

So honestly I'd work on trying to call him/her, or work with the police local to his area. be sure to provide all PM's/e-mails you sent/recieved during the transaction!

I just sent him a PM stating that if he doesnt reply back to me by friday and if he is failing to ship my items, then I will be contacting his local Police Department.

how do you know he recieved it that quickly? did you pay for expedited shipping with tracking? my packages across the pond take anywhere from 5-20 days (thanks UK postal strike last month!).

Yeah I shipped it priority and it had it tracked. It was also within the US.

I never got a response to any of my PMs. If you would have explained that you were busy in a PM I would have understood. Hostile attitude doesn't exactly help on your case.
But I do understand that we all have personal lives.

Just refrain from all the stuff you have posted - while you may be angry please remain civil >.<.

However - I do agree, BadSheep, the OP did kind of called you out a tad bit early for me personally - I'd wait at most 2 weeks, but 1 week, give or take things can happen.
And was a bit early for the OP to call you out.

Not saying anyone is wrong here - just saying communication is always key.

Especially on the internet - where we only see people via screennames - and simple text messages.

So just wanted to give an update about this transaction. I havent heard from Englhockey after the nasty PM he sent me the day I posted this. I did apologize for the hasty post and not giving him time, but communication seemed to have stopped.

So thats the update. He has the defiler as well as the stuff he was supposed to send me.

Lets see....

Origional Ship Date: Nov 9th 2009
Todays Date: Dec 1st, 2009
Status: Not Shipped
Time elapsed: 22 days

With the way he responded earlier in the thread, and lack of....civil communication I would go ahead and send 1 more email that basically says you have X amount of days to send me a mail tracking number for my shipment.

When that time is up id file a report with the police. Be sure to have copies of every e-mail between the both of you and your delivery notice from the mail service in hand when you do.

I know him personally and he is banned for a few more weeks because of something he said. From what he said to me and the message sent to bad_sheep he will send it back but no longer wanted to do the agreed trade for the reason of this post premature, I dont believe he has the person address until he can log on again. I can talk to him later tomorrow when we have another game.

Thats completely fine. I just want my stuff back if he doesnt want to do the original transaction. I'm happy to hear from someone that knows him. Tell him thats completely fine but he needs to ship whatever hes shipping. Thanks. Sadly, he is on suspension for a bit longer due to his behavior here.

However, he HAS received, with the OP's permission, the OP's actual e-mail address.

He COULD reply there, if he wanted to, which, I'd hope, he WOULD want to do.

As of now he still hasnt e-mailed me. Do you know when he received my e-mail? Its extremely sad when someone wont even try to get in touch with you, espicially when he has my items.

He said he hasnt gotten anything from you in his email, the only thing he has gotten from here was from here and it was erased and not read. give me your address and I will forward it to him via text and it will be sent out with no problem,if you dont get it to me in the next few hours its gonna be 2 days untill I recieve it.

Despite the policy against posting personal information + bad trade threads ,
we have so far see it working for the victims 100% of the times by allowing us to confirm its the SAME person ,
and usually the bad trader have a whole list of bad record and not just 1 bad transaction.

Whats the specific policy against posting personal info of scammers?
is it never ever? or are there different allowances depending on the time passed / amount of people involved?

Does the thought of being charged with mail fraud mean nothing to these type of people?

Apparently not , thats why i always bring torch and pitchfork first , as a reminder to what they need to fulfill

He is my friend and I hardly believe hes a bad trader considering I know hes done a ton of trades and 2 bad ones hardly says bad trader. Do you know if the other bad trades been cleared up? I know why he hasnt sent back the stuff because he said he wants to make this kid wait because he posted stuff about him.
