Looks like he could maybe do with a bit more of a highlight on the fur... but going by the rest of him, that might just be the lighting and the dodgy pics.

Otherwise, looks good. That's some big rat, right there.

I believe the thing that gave it away was the pants.

If you sculpt some fur over those pants , it'll be 100% super!

From the pics, it looks really nice. I would second the comment that the fur looks like it could use a little (more?) highlighting. Other than that, though, I really like it.

Wow really wow at first I was a little disapointed, but upon true inspection I saw so much hidden detail in this model. I loved the base with the water effects.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

When i start sporting 2 abominations...... truth, never knew it existed, but now i do so i'll hunt this one down too.

Empchild: yup like i said alot of green stuff and icons went into it. (line the dude getting squashed, his torso is pure GS, as is most of the belt, manical, loincloth, tail, rope.... ) the problem is its so big you kinda loose it all at first glance.

usernamesareannoying: i dont have a pic of the origional anymore could you post one up ?

You know, I was just thinking the same. The fur and the tail seem just to be too...flat, and clean. Especially for a giant rat.

But man. Impressive model either way, Hawkins. Loving the base too.

Actually it looks like you just need to back up about 6-8 inches or so. The back ground for your pics are in complete focus while the subject is out of focus. Also try having a plain white or light colored background, so that the only thing the auto focus on your camera has to focus on is the model.

Actually it was taken by my cellphone, any further back and the pic is to small and you miss out on everything. i thank you for the tips though. next year after i get my trip to canada, i'll be setting up a pic studio in the basement and getting a decent camera.

Thanks for the kind words on the critter. everyones comments are well appretiated.
