Oh, Flames of War! Forgot about them, I want to use WW2 minis of sorts as proxies for my Diesel Punk/Fantasy TT Skirmish game how good are their minis? I'm looking at their website and they look pretty good! But it irks me they don't seem to have any New Zealand or ANZAC minis as they're an NZ company, but if they do, please prove me wrong lol

Picked up my recent preorders - Osgiliath, Mordor & Gondor dice, the new GSG Underworlds gang and Curseling.

Also received my kickstarted copy of The Last War, a weird war 1 postapoc skirmish.

I don’t think they do specific ANZAC equipment, but most of their British stuff can be used just fine with the right unit markings as it was all common gear. I did some Kiwi tank destroyers a while back and just painted on the silver fern insignia.

Managed to secure a set of Rohan and Isengard dice from an indy. Might have been the last Rohan set in Europe.

Rummaging through a big box of misc used stuff at the shop today I got a very nice deal on an assortment of items.
● CSM bitz (a large zip lock bag full for $1!)
● a complete squad if Tau Fire warriors
● two complete tins of Skaven dice from the End Times/tale end of WHFB
● and a MIP White Dwarf mini from 2014 (the witch hunter/vampire slayer)

The Grand Vestibule (finally), some 15mm trees for Flames of War/Team Yankee, some 25mm village ruins for AOS, which are really nice.

They just put out "Malachite" versions of their ruins terrain.

And they've now got Mars versions of their rocks and escarpments.

So far I'm at 2 days.

*excluding glue.
It'll be hard to build through my backlog/pile-o-shame if I can't buy more glue....

Got some stuff from the Deadzone range (marionettes and pathfinders) for generic Sci-Fi skirmish gaming (specifically, but not limited to, for Space Station Zero) while I was at it.

Ordered some 3d printing of my Angaran Chronicles characters I dropped and broke a few weeks ago. Raleas Effernitti, Jelcine, Wilom and Emilia as well as a Voidspawn D&D mini as it's a perfect proxies for a Jaroai.

Ordered two boxes of Raveners, one Eldar Vyper, and one Eldar support weapon platform. Those are direct-only stuff that I couldn't get at my local stores, so got them from another not-so-local store (in a different province). Paid less taxes doing so, so still saved some I guess

Also came in free with a GF9 line laser! It wasn't actually free, but it was cheaper to add that (a 10$ item) to reach the free shipping threshold, than to pay the shipping itself (13$)
