That looks pretty good, nice terrain so far. It might need a little.... roughing up.

These are excellent builds, but way too clean. It needs some spare shootas thrown about the place, a marine or guardsman helmet or two, bullet casings, swords, junk of all sorts.

Basically, it looks like these have just been built, not lived in.

Just my thoughts, and as I said, these are already better than a lot of stuff out there. Kudos for making the effort to build your own terrain!

Very nice!

I'd say the iconography is really good, but maybe a little sparse. A lot of Orky projects suffer from too dense, visually loud, or confused iconography, but some graffiti, forgotten objects (weapons, barrels etc), or damage to the buildings might not go wrong as long as your careful not to go overboard.

Really like the rest effects too, and the properly Orky love for rivets over welding!

These are great, I don't see enough Ork terrain. I agree some things are a little too neat, but if you're going for a planetstrike defense, it looks good as hastily built encampment.

Always a treat to see finished terrain and this stuff is good to boot! Well done.

The use of bulldog clips to hold the cloth on your board is interesting.
I just covered a 6ft board with black fabric and stapled it on.
If i used clips like that I could paint it both sides and also use it covered in fabric for cards, spacehulhk and boardgames.
Is it too much of a pain to dress+ clip the board every time you wish to use it?

Eh, I really like it, and disagree with everyone who said it needs more iconography and such, but Ive never been one to go overboard with things like that. These are a bit more Spartan than most ork conversions, so thumbs up to you.

Hey thanks all for the comments... I wanted to build some terrain that I can use it on other game systems with a minimum of guilt for not doing themed centric terrain for each system Orks glyph I can pass as Trollblood markings or weird Skarrd glyphs but I can't do that with sluggas and such... I'm pretty sure I can use it for Malifaux too

I will try to give a little more 40K flavour to the Bastion since it's the piece that will be only usable on 40K

It's not a pain at all, they also provide for stability and keeping together the board as it's composed of 3 separate MDF panels sized 2ft x 4ft so I can store it more easily, just fold the fabric, separate the panels and I can have my living room back

I will use the stratagem "Turreted Stronghold: Battlecannon" hopefully it will help crushing attackers

Love the lashing and plating. Love the paintjob (most of the rust looks amazing, although some spots look a bit more like brown watercolor than rust - I'm thinking of the metal building with the Rhino doors, specifically). Personally, I feel like it looks more like a WW2 Pacific encampment with glyphs than an Ork camp, but it's damned snazzy, regardless. I'd rather have it be a bit too clean than a totally unstructured pile of plasticard scraps. Solid work.

That's amazing, truly epic, i need to get me some plasticard stuff, would any sort of craft shop sell it?

that's real cool, i can see a theme for a game there, a kind of, imperial guard or space marine attack on an ork encampment. so awesome!
