noticed this blurb from TGN yesterday.

http://www.tabletopgamingnews.com/2009/11/26/31690#more-31690

Looking ahead to next year we will be filling some of the gaps across our ranges to get a cohesive set of forces that we can develop into our own background and rules. It’s been a bit of slow burner over the last year but we have compiled loads of background ideas and images that we need to pull together. We have also been playtesting and tweaking rule mechanics that will need fine tuning but they are already proving to be fluid, fast and fun.

All that’s ages away yet but it explains (sort of) why Kolony has been getting a lot of love and the Heavy Infantry and vehicles have been a bit neglected.

Hope you all like the new stuff – its on our site now and will be filtering into our dealers over the next couple of weeks or so.

anyone know anything else about a possible game system from them? their minis are pretty cool.

If they put out troops in powered armor and some aliens that are not goofy-looking, I may just have found another game to love. Those new minis with all the armor are awesome and then some.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

Their models really are first rate. I only use their heads but I use tons of them.

If they made a game, I'd buy into it. I like the style of their miniatures.

They are great Proxies for just about any game, I LOVE them! They are clean crisp sculpts, almost no flash, and paint up beautifully!

I have long loved their models and it's great that they're making their own rule system. I'll certainly buy the rulebook but I'm not sure I'll play - their figs are rather pricey. At one time or another I considered using them in FAD, but I'll wait and see where they go with these guys.

Only 6 months old. The poster probably didn't want to start a brand new thread. I've got about 40 of the HI and one of the tanks. Sad they couldn't do more with Defiance but I'll have a look at their ruleset.

Did they ever release the rules? Didn't see any further mention of them.

Looks like they have enough now to make a game, and I'd like to see a new scifi game with that style.

Well its been almost a year and no real big news. Maybe they're just tossing around only ideas

I've got a pre-order in for it when the book ships later this year.

Been wanting another miniatures alternative to 40k that would allow me to use my stuff.
