Well its been a long time coming, and I have finally got back to painting my tyranids after some time away, im back into it.
Heres the completed godfex, just have to fix the problem of him coming off his base a lot of the time [hence the GS around the base] and some small highlight things I missed, its a huge model and its never truly done
On another note, I have ordered some LotR movement trays for my gaunts and look forward to basing them and posting picks of them in it [it will make moving them easier].

I like it. It looks a lot faster than a normal carnifex. Very original idea. Well done.

I approve!
One caveat: The ork looks a tad silly, as it really looks like you just forgot to put the legs on an ork model before painting it up. Not much you can do about the face, but the arm really should be on the ground.

I like it mate
The problem with the base is an easy fix
Cut a small amount off the talons (about 5mm or so)
they can then be glues onto the base as contact points.
If you want a stronger bond, do that, and then use one of the spawn pits (from the stealer sprues) on his base.
Have a talon going "through" it.
That way you get a decent bond on it and it shouldnt fall off again

Cheers for the encouragement guys, I didnt realise how long it take to paint a carnifex (and im not even good at painting).
@JD, Thanks for the advice, I will do that next time, I think I could bring myself to keep chopping and adding, i'll just use more GS to weld it to the base, but I will defiantly do that next time.

Neat conversion! Paint is nice, but what IS that coming out of the vents on it's back? Just hot glue?
But I really don't like Tyranids trying to walk on scything talons. As the enemy, I just soak the ground and watch them sink to thier bellies and gun them down at my leisure.

Scyths are longer than tracks, it can still walk through, but your tanks might not make it
