I'm really excited to try this out, but here at work I can't seem to find a program that will play it. What kind of application would you suggest using?

As I haven't heard it yet, I don't know exactly how the audio cues work, but since Space Hulk has come out again I've thought that if someone would make a 3 minute 'heartbeat' (or the Aliens motion tracker sound would work perfectly too) that slowly increased in speed until the crescendo of the 3 minute mark, that would be not only a fantastic tool for keeping the turn time, but also really heighten the mood.

Anyway, thanks for making this and I can't wait to hear it when I get home.

Okay, I downloaded and used Winace and that did the trick.

Yeah, Dakka allows up to 30 attachments per post, so you should be able to upload the original files if you want. I think it would definitely be easier for most that way as I had personally never heard of .ACE compression before.

The files as-is are very nice and I look forward to using them.

They still don't completely scratch my personal itch to build a timer that actually builds tension as it keeps time (by having a reoccurring 'ping' of some sort that gradually gets faster). I could actually use the files you've provided here and create it myself here at work relatively easily...hmmm...do you have the computer 'voice' in these files separate from the background pings by any chance?

This is a great idea- and so simple, it's inspired. Just pop `em on the iPhone and you're away!

I remember seeing the Flash version of the console but unfortunately (or fortunately as I see it) I don't play Space Hulk next to my computer so it wasn't much use to me. Hopefully when the new release of Flash that lets you publish to iPhone comes out, then we can have the timer and the various audio buttons (Stealer noises, assault cannon noises) available anytime. Love it!

Thanks again.

Does anyone remember the turn based game Warhammer Rites of War? It had fantastic sound bits of bolters, chain swords, etc. I'm still trying to find those sounds to complement my miniatures battles.
