Very cool, but I'd say throw some more gibbens on the lower half so it's not to flat/bland compared to all the extra detail on the upper areas.

Yeah I was thinking of trying to buy up some of the little plates and so forth that come on the SOB immolator sprue to "bling" out the lower areas a little more like you suggest. Gotta check the on-line bitz services to see if I can score a bunch on the cheap...

SESSION 2:
25 minutes
Had a little bit of time this morning before work to put on a basecoat. I am using a color called "hammered iron" made by Delta that I think has a nice "militaristic" look to it and that I use on many of my Imperial fortifications.
I also applied some gold to the Aquila.

I'm really liking this so far!
I agree with Anduro on needing more 1st floor bling.
Pretty Spiffy.

Did you make them removable by floor that way you can place troops inside the building?

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House! |

No. While that is cool, it is more fiddly then I wanted this terrain piece to be.

SESSION 3:
30 minutes
I managed to squeeze in another small session this afternoon and wired in a light that runs off of a 9V battery that I had scavenged from a broken toy:
The light blinks on and off like an alarm light, but you can't see that fact in the still pic.
It adds a little "eye candy" when on the table me thinks...

There's no need to do that with the current building rules. Which certainly makes buildings easier to handle.

God damn you CT... giving my ideas. Hmm... I do have 10 unbuilt bastions in the other room.
Got a shot from above? I'd like to see the 'roof' that you used.

The cannon's barrel walls are too thin. Take a look at the Demolisher Cannon on a Vindicator to see how you can make it look better.

Agreed.
I have been debating making it a true artillery cannon or an energy weapon, so i have been playing around with bits trying to find the right look, etc. have not decided yet.
