How does that look? I am shooting for competitive, but I am new to the whole Khan-Outflank stuff.

The fact that you cannot hold your ironclad in reserve is a problem, but other than that looks good. And i would recommend a land Raider Redeemer over the crusader, since you already have alot of melta weaponry and could use the additional AP3 support.

Red_lives i think second part of your post doesnt make sense . However redeemer would be better IMO. But your formulation about melta weaponary is wierd

To be honest, I was just hoping the Ironclad would smack down and distract the opponent while my Bikes turbo-boosted and I got the second turn Reserve rolls.

Should I shoot for a pair of Raiders, instead?

Attack Bikes are ok.
Khan and posse in the LRC looksok… but ‘Eggs in a Basket’ issue at the 1750 level.
Though they have a long reach from the sides they occupy a sizable portion of the list…and most meta these days involves dealing with the ‘Larger Metal Box’ with hurty dudes inside.

Iconclad is all alone… that’s bad IMO. Distraction it will not do well. In melta range. Nothing else worth shooting yet...

Troops are crazy boring. You could change it up a little, like getting a plasma squad (know you don’t like plasma, but this sort of squad has its charms).

I don’t think you should outflank everything though…I think that’s setting yourself up for some bad experiences.
You want to have a presence on the table, so you should build an army list with that in mind…

A pair of raiders makes the basket issue worse.
There is no astropath here... relying on getting turn 2 reserve rolls is setting yourself up for disappointment...and attack bikes are actually decent reserved or outflanking.

you could try razorbacks and splitting them up with las or plas on the ones who aren't in the vehicle. Still not a fan of the termies with kosarro but if you want it. Probably want to give the marines a flamer as you can already take out tanks with the bikes.

I don’t like Khan too much. He is not known for his force multiplier, but he will make a squad be pretty scary in CC.

As to razorbacks…meh.
I’d think White Scars would want everyone in rides and 100% mobile.

Ya i would put the tac squads in raizorbacks. I would drop the terminators and raider and pick up a command squad on bikes with 4 melta guns, 4 lightning claws, and 4 storm shields. put khan with them and maybe a chaplin and you have a even more brutal squad then the terminators.

Yea, but that sorta changes how the entire army works. If I wanted to do Bikers, I would have done Bikers.

Razorbacks would leave me with static elements, which defies fluff and tactical benefit, doesn't it?

well you can still move 6 and fire a razerback. The white scars arnt stupid they do know some cover fire dose go along way to keeping there stuff alive long enough to do good lol. i just think the comand squad is better for what they do then terminators in a khan army. My friend runs the same list with the command squad and has one the last 5 tourney's he's gone to with em i fear that army its so maneuverable and that command squad is BRUTAL lol

He doesn't mean the razorback static.
To transport anyone he'd have to combat squad.
Which would result in one squad huffing it, or actually using their hvy weapon, which results in a static element...3, from what was suggested.

I think the opponents of a bike command squad overestimate the durability of that squad.
I've killed Jetbike councils with weight of fire...command squad bikers are no different. Boggles the mind IMO.

Yea, Sanctjud, we seem to be on the same page here. I will work on it more, but I am not sure I can rely on Outflanking really.
