At last! I will be starting my ork bad moons blog And now I have convinced my brother to get on working with his nids. I've been lurkig around dakka for some time now and posted a comment here and there, but now alas, I got my own.

Hope you enjoy this and give ous alot of C&C

Our goal with this blog is to document our wip and paint up our armies in reasonable point-chunks so that we don't have to work with all at a time. And when we have done some points, starting of with 500 points. We will try to document a battle report for you to enjoy! I have big hopes for this and think I will make alot of progress with my orks. And now... pictures!

The boyz look really nice - it's hard to get a good yellow, especially on models that dark.

The Deff Dreads look a little too spindly for my tastes. Something made by Orks would be bulkier and meaner looking. Those arms are just way too thin. Nice work regardless.

Thank you I've tried to bulk the arms a bit with some arour plates but, I think the small arms give them a little wobbly and custom feel. like thy were built out of a single metal bar that's just been bent to da meks liking.

Great looking kans Rose-Mountainz, I'll definitely be nicking that idea! I think the kan arms look great, buy they're a tad thin on the deffdread (IMHO anyways).

A Squeaky Waaagh!!

Is it kinder eggs that you have used for Kan bodies? Nice ones, agree that the arms and legs might be abit thin.

CK: be my guest to do that!
a94: yea, they are normal kinder eggs.

On second thought I think that I will bulk out the Deff dreads arms a bit with some more gubinz and armour plates. Think it will turn out pretty good.

I feel bad guys. So nice replies and I'm not even updating this. :( I'm a lazy guy that easily get's distracted i.e. this blogg is pretty dead. I have plans though in the future to start a complete random blogg. That way it wouldn't do to much with my nature of not being able to focus on a single project at a time. That way I could update on everything. So what you think about this, any ideas or thoughts?

Love love love the deff dredd, and I think you should leave the spindly look to the arms and legs - gives them a real 'flailing wildly' kinda feel, like the robot from ?Lost In Space?.

I really like the scratchbuilds though - little touches like the springs are ace! I'll be sure to check out your random thread when you post it
