Well I was just playing around, I'm making a CSM list for each chaos god and my second one is almost done so I'm playing around with EC. Tell me what you think.

pretty basic really, doesn't seem to have any major weakness (except people punching you but according to your avatar that doesn't seem a problem ) and anti tanks so mech armies will hurt, maybe drop one of the vindicators for havocs with las or something.

Yeah, vindicators can take out vehicles but nothing like a lascannon or meltagun. I'm thinking maybe 3 x preds with autocannon and las sponsoons. The Noise Marines can take out infantry with sheer volume of shots so the vindies could be considered redundant.

Also about getting punched out I find Noise Marines to be sneaky, people get so shot up by them its almost like they forget that there CSM with fearless and int 5.

I would like to see a pic of your converted NM AC model his with PW, Doom Siren, and blastmaster.

no blastmaster, sonic blaster but yeah its a ton of stuff on one model. Also keep in mind that sonic blasters work like close combat weapons, bolt pistols and bolters on a chaos space marine model, not all have to be shown.

Are you seriously going to make this or is it count as? I can't even think where you'd stick his PW. But knowing the EC, I suppose it could be anywhere.

Oh and at that cost for Vindis you could go 3x Oblitz and 2x Oblitz. Or, if you really wanted, 3x Oblitz and a AC/LC pred to create more cover with 15 points to stick somewhere else. Maybe a spare havoc launcher?

Well either the power weapon or the blaster may get the axe for showing up on the model. The sheathed swords that come with the Khorne Berzerkers are great to put on a model, I've got them on all my bikes.

Given the dollar cost of sonic blasters, I'd stick with the drawn PW that comes with the NM AC. Although if you're actually going to model all of these with actual GW bitz (deluxe wallet rape) you'll have more than enough left over to give 2 ACs sonic blasters.

That's a pretty bad list.
The army lacks long range fire support, especially if the enemy can deploy at the opposite corner.

NM: Why 9?
Sonic Marines are ok.

Champion squads are ok.

Vindis are cool.

Problems: lack of meltas (vindis and melta bombs, DP attacks are not something to rely on)
Lots of Anti-infantry, but low anti-tank, but this ties into the lack of meltas, there’s no way for you to take out transports early, in which you’d need to dedicate Vindi’s for that job… which is over kill most of the time…

So… this list does well against non-mech armies…which I find are not really serious lists IMO.
