Lovely stuff all over, particularly the Guard stuff. You've created a really unique looking force with just a few key conversions. Stellar work. This army rocks harder than the Canadian shield. I'm going to have to keep an eye on this thread.

It pleases me to see people painting proper identification stripes on their tanks. UP WITH THE GUARD!

Thanks for the comments everyone! I agree, I want to add script on his seals at some point, I think it will help a lot.

Sorry for the delay on the thread, I got a puppy, and have not had a chance to settle down and work on some warhammer in awhile. Hopefully I will get to some rough riders soon, she is finally starting to settle down. Hopefully updates will be arriving shortly, thanks for the patience and sticking with the thread.

In the absence of updates, pictures of said puppy are required to appease the masses.

Haha she is a pitbull mix, super fun, super high energy. We rescued her, so I don't know exactly how old she is, but they thought almost a year.

SO many pics available, here are a few. The darker brown dog is her older sister, also a pit bull mix, around 3 years old. They are such loving dogs, pit bulls get an awful reputation they don't deserve.

Tell me about it. One of my 3 is a mix containing some amout of pitt/staff. Complete spaz, absolute dork, but friendly as all get-out.

1. Good to see how AEGIS wall is being used in normal games as battlefield cover.
2. Background for your army. please

it looks like they come from Medieval world (and later supplied with imports)

1]=Ok, I have finally done a little work on the army! I have been working on the rough riders, and I have gotten the legs on 5 of the riders. 587]________}' (And that was the puppy walking all over my laptop.) I also decided on the other arm, you can see his shield that I added. I was torn, but then I was reading the second Gaunt's Ghosts book, and they had cavalry in there where the rider and mount were mind-linked, and that is perfect. That lets me put something in the off hand. Let me know what you guys think, and if I should add stirrups around the feet.

Also I would very much like to get some background written up, hopefully soon.

Ya they are great models, and yes they do need to ride on dinosaurs. Here is the box set:

The dark elf cold one knights. They are much better than the lizardmen ones in my opinion, they are a lot newer model.

Huzzah! progress has been made! I have the first 5 rough riders ready to base coat, here are a couple pictures of them. I will keep the shield arm separate until they are fully painted.

Thanks for the compliment! I know it has been awhile, but I have updates. Huzzah! I got some paint on one of the rough riders, and I should be getting the rest finished shortly. Let know what you think. I am unsure about the coloring on the cold one, what does everyone think?

Thanks for all the great compliments everyone! I can't wait to keep working on these guys, I want to get the squad of five done soon. I am not looking forward to making up the rest of the squad though, they take a long time to convert. I have one more painted, but I do not have his shield arm finished. I really like how he is tucked in and looks like he is charging, so I am converting a shield arm to be tucked up closer to his body.

Here are the 2 I have left to paint, the 2 completed together, and the other guy who is almost finished.

first five rough riders are done, ya boy! Love these quys, and definitely want to get some more done. They take awhile to build and paint, but I think they are worth it. Here are some pictures of the whole group, and I will have some more pics of the last 2 individual rough riders soon. Also thanks for the compliments, they are very appreciated!

the other rough rider, and I painted up the extra shield arm I had made, and temporarily tacked it on the charging guy. I am going to make a shield arm that is tucked up with the next batch of rough riders and switch it out. But for now I wanted to have 5 guys completed so I can use them in a game if necessary. I do like how this shield arm looks on him however.
