I'm not exactly sure of the turn in deadline but my entry is sealed. I just have to let it dry and then touch up the blood splats that are supposed to be shiny still... and then get photos. Hoping the sun peeks out a little but if it doesn't I'll make due with my lamps.

Just under 7 hours to go....10 entries submitted.

Once the deadlne is reached I expect there'll be a grace period whilst I finish putting together the final entries post

And as the dok's did not see fit to make graven's cast into a fully functional integrated bio-mechanical tool-kit he had to call off his entry but has offered his help in the judge's seat (hopefully we'll not disagree to the extent of causing Scottish independence by stint of declaring war )

I have some leave in the coming week, so I can spend a decent amount of time looking over the entries, the plan is to have the results in before the new year
I'd like to announce the People's Choice award at the same time, does that seem realistic to people, or should I give a full week to allow you all and whoever else is watching to cast their votes?

Just remember, judging is a lot easier when you're inebriatedsober. or the other way around.

A grace period yes, but folks, if you are going into overtime, do PM Monkeytroll before the deadline to let him know. Don't surprise him with something 24 hours after the deadline has passed ( and possibly many hours after he will have posted the the final entries listing). Please don't. It'll put him in a very uncomfortable position.

Just about 80% finished with mine.

I'll only be submitting two sections of my wall. Overall I have 6 pieces at about 6" each, and a big gate piece.

Ran out of time though, holidays and all.

submitted my entry pics to our fair judge monkey troll this very minute... and to be fair... 30 minutes too late... as here in the frozen state of Germany it is already the 29th...

...I've read (skimmed through mostly looking at pictures) the previous competitions, and have the idea of making a set of terrain that fits all the old criteria, in a Necromundan Theme. So far the idea I have is using Lids(1), Biscuit Containers(2) and other debris to build a Pit Fighter Colosseum(3) with bits of Fungus(4) growing around/through it, with my "Fresh From The Sump" Truck(5) laying around somewhere nearby, possibly with a merchant trying to push his stinky-disgusting-"edible"-wares... A bunch of cells(8) for the Pit Slaves to sleep in built into the sides of the Colosseum are and a plank with a row of holes(10) with a nice portaloo for people that value privacy (and maybe a sewer entrance), and lastly some kind of road entrance (sewers/tunnels?)to get (11) included.

So, almost all in one. Except 6 and 7. A Shrine and an outside-the-box Gun Emplacement. For these two I was thinking a Plinth with a Guilder Statue on top, and in the mid-section having a built-in heavy bolter to autocannon or some such (which can swivel around 360 degrees) as kind-of-a "The Guilders are Watching" type thing.(perhaps the Tribute to Guilders can be in the centre of the arena?) :-D

...oh, yeah. The 5 Elements(9). Clearly I'll have to think more about this whole all-in-one idea. but, skimming all those threads has been inspiring! I've already pulled a few bits of debris out from my scrap-pile and the bag-o-non-GW-toys provided a potential Guilder statue and... Oh, right. I'm prone to distraction and sporadic in my efforts. *wanders off to think about making some mushrooms, or possibly a palanquin*

As I was posting my earlier comment Fango was PMing me about an extension, and as I type I've yet to hear from OrkaMorka.
I've requested another shot from LittleTower, which he'll provide me with in the morning - so bearing that in mind, and seeing as it's Christmas I'm extending the grace period to when I log back on in the morning myself...probably around 9 hours time.
If any of you who have already finished add or change anything n that period then I will obviously accept those changes too. I give no guarantee as to exactly what time I'll get up and log in, but that will be the final chance....the only excuses I would accept after then would be such that I would expect you to have far more important things to deal with than posting toy soldiers on the internet anyway...ie, war breaking out

Once again, thanks to all who participated, and especially to those who finished....the dirty dozen fantastic four-teen as they stand at present
