Lots of good, clean work here Captain Brown! Keep it up! Have you picked up any of the new Sisters kits yet?

The two sisters are looking nice and relaxed atop their mounts! Such a about the magnet, I take it you’ll be digging it out and turning it around?

Very nice work Cap! That blue background really does make some of the colors pop. Not sure which one I like better though, perhaps the white because you can make out more details with the hair.

That little bleeding cut is a beautiful touch. It invokes the thought of a tear. The face turned out really well overall.

Thank you youwashock.

DV8 wrote:Lots of good, clean work here Captain Brown! Keep it up! Have you picked up any of the new Sisters kits yet?

Thank you DV8. No, other than the one plastic Sister Superior that I painted for Heroes and Villains I do not plan on getting any more of the new Sisters. With a complete metal army of them I just cannot justify it.

gobert wrote:The two sisters are looking nice and relaxed atop their mounts! Such a about the magnet, I take it you’ll be digging it out and turning it around?

Cheers gobert, in the past I probably would have, but due to the time crunch I am just going to accept that no additional kit will be on that corner.

Thanks Yorkright, I went with white for the competition...it apparently made the Rosary look too white, but I think the figure looked better than the blue background.

Thank you The Riddle of Steel.

So the two Immolators in progress. When you do two tanks at the same time it does help catch when you miss something on one very quickly.

Further progress.

Looking good CB! The script on the banners seems fitting for Sisters, was that a transfer of just white lines painted to represent words?

Nice looking immolators. I love the new over the top model, but the old ones held a lot of character too and you bring it out perfectly.

Thanks gobert, the script on the red banner is a transfer, while all the script on the white is free-hand.

Thank you Viterbi.

Now my two finished Immolators, due to time for the Unofficial Monthly Painting Challenge I did not get the Hunter Killer missiles finished, but the rest of the magnetized parts are complete.

Very nice clean work on the tanks. Right off the assembly line, through the church for blessings and onto the transports to go light up some heretics.

Very clean and striking tanks with that high-contrast scheme pulled off very neatly. I'm sure they will look gorgeous while burning some heretic scum!

Slick looking tanks, Cap'n. The gold looks really good and adds a ton of interest without being too much. The balance is great all around, actually.

Thank you Brian, Yorkright and Ezki.

It has been a while, but the Sisters are back in the queue starting with an Exorcist for the Monthly Painting Challenge.

I have picked up three old metal Sisters with Standards that I am going to convert into Imagifiers. It was not cheap...I was hoping more would be available at a reasonable price as many folks are switching over to the new plastics. One I received listed as used but complete was even missing part of it's standard, so I have made a conversion holding a Sisters of Battle vehicle Icon.

First one in progress, Icon but together from a cut-up vehicle Icon.

The next two in progress. but further behind, including the one with it's short staff (now with an Icon with a hole drilled in the back stuck into the stump).

If anyone has an old one of these they do not intend to use, let me know.

6 foot underwater

Nice stuff! Army shots look great.

Avenger is pretty sweet, shame the kit looked a bit off, always liked that model.

Big props for the range of old school rhino variants - even if that's currently changing

Good work rescuing the icon bearer. Quite fluffy rescue job too, honouring a vehicle that fell in battle doing some heroic deed perhaps? Good luck with the rhino

Nice work Captain! She looks like she's holding the icon up to enforce morale, but also in a pinch may throw it through some heretics or lower it and use it as a lance
