Not where I should be

WOW! thank you all for your comments.

OK here goes...
@ Dave, took a little longer than 8 minutes, but not much. Having to work between lots of stuff going on at mo so when I am in the groove I go for it.
@ SirDonlad, Ta.
@ Panda, much appreciated.
@ Vik, Thank you so much bud, really appreciated. Maybe one day I will be good enough to be paid for this stuff, I just love doing it at the moment.
@ Theo, Thanks bud, good to hear.
@ Gits, Thanks sir, how you doing?
@ Yorkright, Thanks.
@ OMN, Thanks bud, not my choice of weapon though it does not make any odds to me what was to be thrown on it. Blame SirDonlad for that, and the next one below.
@ Oldravavman3025, Glad you think so.
@ Shas, just when I thought I was done in the cockpit, but ok will do, good point, thanks bud.
@ Ruglud, Well spotted young man, and thanks.
@ DrH, Thanks.
@ Graven, never enough rivets.
@ Josh, Thanks bud, sure you can bud.
@ Capt. Brown, Ta chuck, much appreciated.

WOW that was a lot, awesome.

OK next up the other gun...Sir Donlad requested "a large scale Irradiation-engine type weapon like on myrmidon destructors? "
So...

Thoughts appreciated.Thanks for looking.

OH-I Wanna get out of here

These Titan weapons are pretty baller to be sure! On the normal scale versions, each barrel has three of those fins on it. Are you going to do similar, or leave it at 1 per?

I would say you should actually double the fins to 6 per head, or at minimum do 3 per head to keep with the looks.

Cam the arms you make are brilliant, I may want some for my stuff.

level of detail is super awesome but i chime in with the "more-fins-crew" ...

Absolutely stunning!!

Creative genius confirmed.

The latest Experimental Titan Weapon really is a work of art without paint (ditto for the 'Camkeirhi Class Sonic Destructor'!) - i think i'm going to call this one an 'Irrad-Saturation Core'; "Egressing only the most harmful ionizing radiative particles of a deliberately de-stabilised Warhound pattern dual Plasma-Reactor core.."

I have so much fluff build-up from this model, i'm extremely flammable right now..

The lower fins made me think of the angle of the tail fins on the voss-pattern lightning strike fighter
Spoiler:

So i'm going to champion the idea of mirroring the fins from the upper emitter on the lower emitter - but that immediately drags my thoughts into the corrupting influence of 'patrons' in early theatre; you can't influence art or the art becomes a corruption of the artists purest expression.

Nice work with the lower fin shape and also on the bracing between the two emitters - the holes cut for weight reduction was inspired man!

Jealousy inducing scratch-build skills!

Have to chime in with another affirmation of your skill Cam- it's one thing to use brand new, clean sheets of styrene and/or cast purpose-made parts; quite another to combine scratch materials with found items (are those pen barrel ends I see?) plus greenstuff plus odd bits from other kits to make something that is dead-on for the original. For pure imagination, I'm minded of your first project in this thread, which was to build an entire Catachan jungle firebase/tower/firing platform from the sprues the figures came on and the box they came in!

Well done, indeed!

Whoa! I went back to look and had my mind blown! I have a lot of mostly-empty sprues lying around that I may have to try this myself. This P&M blog is a never-ending font of inspiration. Keep it up!

Now showing The Fellowship of the Ring, along with some Dreadball Captains!

Not where I should be

Thank you all so much.

@ Whalemusic360, Thanks and I kinda get what you are saying, see below.
@ Panda, Thanks bud so how long have you had this fin fetish? And just ask bud, can knock them up for you.
@ Vik, Thanks, and see below.
@ DrH, Thanks bud.
@ CK thanks bud really appreciate the kind words.
@ SirDonlad, Thanks bud, she is still quite WIP even if you see paint on it does not mean I wont rip it off and start again.
@ Theo. Thanks bud, nowhere near that good, can't help but wonder what I could do with no budget restraints and the free time.
@ Meer_Cat, Thank you, really grateful for the words, they mean a lot.
@ Josh, thanks just don't look too close.

Well started mucking about again.

Nice fuzzy trailer snap for the fins.

Before too much paint

And some paint starting to go down...

So trying a little something for the fixings for the arms.
Glue in nut, couple M6 bolts, and a metal bracket.

Drilled out and glued in the nut.

Thanks for stopping by.

This is phenomenal work Cam, BUT something's been bugging me for a while, and I couldn't quite put my finger on it till now: it's the snout. The light "nostrils" I think distract slightly, moving the where the eye is drawn to and (to me) look with the front grill almost orky. I would darken them right down, personally.
Jusy my tuppence though.

Just a quick note, but full of love and best wishes, to all our friends State side, hope the weather is not affecting you, please take care.

@ Theo, LOL thanks.
@ Graven, Think you could be onto something, mind you I think the flash is picking it up a couple levels, does not look quite so bad IRL, but taken on board and I think I will give it a couple washes, maybe try something to Imperialise it.

Not going to get much done today got a road trip later, thank you for the comments and the views, really appreciate it.

I bet drilling those but holes in the body must've felt like defusing a bomb...doing something like that after you've done so much detail and paint work already, I would have been super edgy with working with a drill...my that's off to you sir for being so ballsy^^

Also...i am always pleased to see a red and white paint job...somehow this is my default scheme whenever I am planning to pay t something...

And the leg armour...Still WIP got a few bits to add yet...

Well thank you for looking, I think I will leave off updating this build now until she is complete, should be very soon. Got some other things in the pipe coming soon, and I really need an orky fix as well.
