Anyone heard this one? I've heard it several times from different sources but both for Japan and for Hong Kong.

They story goes in the 60s or 70s as Asia was becoming more westernized a local department store decided to put up Christmas decorations.

But as none of them were Christian they weren't quite sure what goes where. They knew Santa was a Christmas thing, they knew Jesus was a Christmas thing so...

They crucified Santa Claus.

Anyone able to confirm that one?

HAHAHAHAHAHA now thats funny!!!!

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

Y'know I hadn't thought of that one. I'll add it to my retellings

But the r/l thing is an issue with Japanese phonics, Chinese has both sounds, Japanese has a sound midway between the two.
