Well hello there all happy holidays. Well I have been very busy with the good ol USMC but i'm home for a bit so I decided to work on 2 things.

One for adeptacon 500pts of 50 or 40 dkok infantry man cant remember which. but with 1 melta and flamer in the different squads all painted by March i have a break and will try to atleast base and assemble then in the next 16 days. I will post the pictures but I have finished 1 squad of grenadiers. Prior to this.

But the main thing out of this will be 1850 pts of this army
It will have 5 Valks (2 Vend 3 Valks) 50 Dkok Infantry and 20 Grenadiers 1 HQ 1 Converted Sly dkok style.

I liked the Idea of this army its a quick reaction force- QRF used to breach trench lines with out losing men to the grueling run across no mans land.

Will post when I can I am very busy with the holidays but I would love yalls input.
The scheme I'm going for is WW 1 german/french on infantry and as well for Vics.

I do also have this army set up for Mechinzed so I will be doing that as welll but at a MUCH later date.
I also hope to put some custom bulit IMunda stuff as well.

I'm a big fan of the Death Korps of Krieg but my main concern is that the aesthetics of the DKOK simply won't work along side the valkyries. Mixing the WWI feel with the hightech SF look of the valks doesn't really work in my opinion. If you want a valk-heavy force then I'd recommend Elyssian drop troops or Cadians as they fit the theme much better. Or even catachans and go for a Vietnam feel for the army. DKOK work much better as foot sloggers supported by artillery and tanks rather than as a rapid reaction force (at least that's what the WWI aesthetic suggests to me).

Yes I do understand that but I do fancy the idea of them using them for a QRF to break a stalemate in the hostile world of trench warfare cause footslogging takes forever and brings alot more dead.

But quite frankly I bought them and will be doing them in the end just saying lol. I do very well understand your point.

I do have the ability to do them as foot s loggers like stated early and I also have enough Armor for mech.
