If you want to go competition friendly, using heralds insead of GD's and least used units (like plauge beasts, seekers, screamers) would help. Those make a competition friendly army and one that is still very compeditive if used right.

On the list you've posted, I don't think you will get bad comp. scores with it. You are not using multiple gifts or banners, and your not using more than one unit of hounds or flamers. So the only thing I would see people giving a second look at is the 6 flamer unit and the GUO.

lol i edited it slightly with a bsb with standard of sundering (for vamp players) and the masque instead of hounds

I don't think the standard of sundering works on race specific lores - reread the item description and I believe it says just to one of the 8 lores of magic. Still useful if you play someone other than VC.

It works on all Lores (Race Specific or Not) however it does not work on spells that are not part of a lore (ie. Invocation) this is all detailed in the DoC FAQ on the GW Website.

While its not as hard as it could be I would call this list FAR from comp friendly. Big block of plaguebeares with herald, carrying a staff of nurgle no less. 2 minimum sized units of horrors don't help. And the flamers and hounds are some of the best daemon units around. And a Great Unclean One with trappings and Lvl 4 is not very friendly either.

If you want to bring a comp friendly army to a tournament, I'd suggest not playing Daemons. GW unfortunately made a big mistake in how they designed that book.
