Hey All Im fairly new here but figured I would share my Daemon Hunters / Traitor Guard army

As it stands aprx 1850 points and I am very happy with the performance in recent games....

Sorry about the mould lines, sloppy painting, etc.... but this is my table top army and I use it for gaming and not so much for show.....(cant make things too precious)

Let me know what you guys think! If your in LA you may have played me in Glendale...if you haven't hit me up Im always up for a good game!

Land Raider Crusader / Land Raider (Brand New Addition but the big gun in the front just looks cool and has no purpose in the game)

I love this army. All the conversions are smooth, and very character fitting for the rogue inquisition theme. I especially like the Inquisitors retinue and the dreadnaught, which in my opinion is the most original and sweet looking odds and ends conversion I've ever seen. Many good ideas here, hope you won't mind if I hijack some of those ideas for some traitor guard to go with my Word Bearers

Wow, very nice, I like the clockwork dread. Nice job, a very unique army.

Great work. Love the servitors (and the wheel theme that you repeat on the Raider). And I love the way you worked the spears into the poses and motion on your infantry. And the Rough Riders are truly brutal-looking!

My only critcism is that your otherwise-wonderful work is marred by mold lines. For the love of G_D, please file those things off in the future.

But damn, you've got some nice work there.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

The counts as dreadnought made me poo my pants...just a bit. Excellent conversions!

This is a great army. I love the conversions and the general gritty mechanical feel of many of the models.

I can only continue stumbling forward until I reach the point the I can call that level of conversion and painting "tabletop" quality.

Wow I just noticed the welding lines on the Landraider! I have to say that is one of the best little details added to a model that I've seen. It's so seamless and fits amazingly well with the disrepair and chaos (pun intended) in the army.

Kudos sir!

Now, I'm just curious, do all "Renegade" factions HAVE to be devoted to Chaos or Tau?

Else-wise; Wonderful paintjobs and I like the Servitors as jumbles of guns and gears!

Just because anyone agrees with anyone, doesn't mean they are correct. Beware the thin line between what is "Correct" and what is "Popular."

Superb army. I know you said you don't really care about the mold lines because it's a tabletop army, but I feel the need to mention them just because they bother me . Even with them your army looks fantastic. I like the addition of the Doomwheel in the Land Raider.

That land raider rocks!!!

I like the theme you have going with this army...while the moldlines bother me too, I can undestand not wanting to file them off, or fix join lines.

Best of luck to any future projects!

...Um...I'm a...Simply at a loss of words for how cool this traitor army is...

Love the gun servitors, especially the one on the single wheel thing. The beastmen and maurader bits really add to the coolness factor as well.

My favorite piece though is the psycher with his head and hands in the rack. Really cool. Looking forward to seeing more from this army.

Your idea of tabletop standard is a lot higher than mine, that's for sure! Amazing looking army, the theme you have for it is amazing and well implemented throughout the entire army. Beautiful work all around.

Thanks again guys! Appreciate All the compliments....yeah I love the weld line on the landraider, I put tons of tiny little details throughout the army like that a I love being able to look at an army a dozen times and still find new things to look at...

I have a unit of terminators to do still and will post those pics in the next few weeks....

In regards to Tau or Chaos, I felt I wanted to keep some of the fluff from the codex as a basis for the army while giving it my own twist....besides in the word of rick moranis...'now you see why evil will triumph over good....because good is dumb.'

Thanks again,

Sanford

My Renegades are from a world that was viral bombed by the Inquisition after the Planetary Governor was possessed by a Lord of Change(the Inquisitor Lord that ordered it was also, unfortunately, a Chaos worshipper). They still worship the Emperor, they're just hunted by so called "loyalists."

This is one of the best looking armies I've seen in a long time. I have a question on your Rough Riders, what legs are those, Marauders? I have a bunch of Cold Ones left over from a conversion project with the Dark Elf knight bodies, and would love to do some up myself.

It's a nice army with lots of cool conversions... cheers!

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!
