Hey guys

I was wondering if anyone has made an order from forgeworld recently. I ordered two titans at the end of november and i have not heard anything from forgeworld about when they will be shipped or when they will arrive. I have written two emails and have been calling them but it is always busy. I was wondering if anyone has received their order or if this is how they typically do business.

Emailing is kinda useless with them. Your best bet is to keep calling.

Put in two different orders two weeks ago. Both came within 5 days. (UK to the US). I'd only have to assume two things:
1) Order is lost or
2) They are backordered and making more Titans. (Most likely scenario, but check on your order).

Titans take longer for them to produce as they usually don't keep them in stock. They are made with each order. Remember it is the holiday season and those are two very big models that can take up to 30 days to arrive(as their website says). Also are you calling on their time? I once got up at 3am to call them so it would be early in their opening over there.

Also did you check with your Credit card CO and clear an International charge? If it got denied they have in the past not said any thing to the customers or the CC co also said nothing...

May want to check.

Also there is/was a UK postal strike , so if it was not coming express ( two titans should be!) it could be a while.

I recently tried to order a large FW Chaos Renegades army, but the CC company denied the charge and flagged it as "suspicious/possible fraud" as I live in the US and it was around Xmas time. I did not get an email notification from FW until 6 days later. I called up the CC company and they released the hold, but said i had to order AGAIN...so i let it drop, as i did not trust them NOT to bill me twice, thus drawing wife aggro when she checks our bank statement. So I ordered some flames of war stuff and spent some $ with battle foam during their BF sale

Basically, check your email, and often..if the CC/bank denied the charge it will show up in 5-10 days.

Hmmm. My bank has not contacted me about anything and yes i am calling them on their time. I will wake up earlier tomorrow to call and hope i get someone on the phone.

It is very possible that because i ordered a bio titan and warhound titan that it is taking the full 28 days.

My account still has not been credited and i really just want my toys so i can put them together.

If your account has not been credited call them to make sure they got the order and then call your bank to make sure there isn't a hold on the order.

Forge World in the UK, right. The distance from where I live in the UK and Forge World is is 49 miles or 78.84 Kilometres and my last order took 6 weeks to get here, I could have walked there and back quicker.
If you take that it has to travel 4780 miles to reach you, I'd say you have one hell of a wait, maybe your grandkids can build them for you.

You realize when you spend that kind of money you should call the bank right away just to let them. A lot of banks have daily allowed spendinglimits so what you whould ahve done was ordered on two seperate days being shipping is free either way.

$20 says your order was placed right before a Royal Mail strike.

I had that happen to me, the very next day after everything was shipped via Royal Mail, the fethers went on strike. I didn't get my Hector Rex for almost a month(compared to the usual week or week and a half turnaround from the UK to the US). However, Forge World is starting to look at exclusively using courier services since Royal Mail is so unreliable.

For us to get the free shipping we need to combine our orders. I guess i will reorder and call my bank. Seems like the best option.

I hope to make a order later next year.

Jeez, does the Royal Mail go on strike every other week or something? You guys in the UK need to get your gak together.

My latest Maelstrom order took three weeks to arrive. They sent it out late November and I got it on the 21st of December. It could be UK post's fault, then again it could be US Customs fault.

This is the first time I've ordered from them that it's taken longer than a week.

I'm not too aggravated about it, because I figured it would most likely take longer due to what month it is.

It really depends on the time of the year, the age of the ordered item(s) and the position of the moon.

I'm pretty sure that when the Elysian IFV's go on-line they'll send them out in rapid succession, but when I order an Elysian squad I'll have to wait another 2+ months for it to show up as with the previous order.

I ordered a Pre-Heresy Land Raider 2 weeks ago, and it arrived in ~4-5 business days. Other orders I've placed in the past have taken around a week to arrive.

It really is a matter of what models you order (larger kits are made to order, as far as I know).

However, if you don't hear anything from FW, check your bank. Since you said it was flagged as fraud, you need to sort it out with the bank. FW do have their faults, and shipping can take a while, but usually it's pretty quick.

And typically for me, the one time I actually need something from Forgeworld not only coincides with a trip to Nottingham, but also with me being extremely skint. Bah.

They're probably being sent by laden African Swallow. That will take a long time.
