For those who know me, this will 'sound' like a broken record.

The main body of the list is set:

Captain, Bike, Relic, Shield.
10 Ass. Termies (7TH/SS,3 Claws).
8 Bikers, Fist, 2 Meltas, Hvy Bolter Attack Bike.
8 Bikers, Fist, 2 Meltas, Hvy Bolter Attack Bike.
8 Bikers, 2 Flamer, Hvy Bolter Attack Bike.
3 Multi-Melta Attack Bikes.
3 Multi-Melta Attack Bikes.
3 Hvy Bolter Attack Bikes.

I have a 135 points left (from dropping a fist from the flamer bikers).

As you can see, it's not crazy optimized and uses a questionable transportless unit in the list, but what of the last 135 points?

I have some options bundled up in roles:

1. Cover fire units:
-Thunderfire Cannon, I really want to use one. I don't like it nor have high expectations, but any ranged niche unit could do.
-135 points of Sniper Scouts...maybe Telion..who knows. They are just be annoying.
-5 Devestators with 3 hvy weapons (HB, MM, ML)

2. Units that chill in reserve as reserve unit:
-Dread with 30ish points for upgrades, able to do ranged and combat when entering.
-Iconclad, pretty much all about combat when getting in.
-Razorback with 5 tactical: a mobile scoring unit or able to provide some more HB fire. Generally coming in on a quite flank.

3. Independent Characters:
-Libby maybe on a bike: for hood and null at the very least.
-Chappy maybe on a bike/Cassius: for fearless/rr-attack termies, but they not likely nor expected to be doing that much charging.
-MoTF/Techmarines to augment the close range fire power of a biker squad.

4. Other:
-Single Pred, Dakka or AC/LC.
-Whirlwind, not as bad as the only tank cause it can focus on indirect.

What do you guys think?
No..the Terminators are going without a ride, crazy, but that's what's happening

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

Why build an all-bike army only to have slow terminators inching up the board? SYNERGY, man, SYNERGY! I say dump them for something that can keep up with the rest of the army or give them a transport if you really want them.

Your termis will never get anywhere lol, I would just ignore them, I doubt they would ever get within 6" of me by turn 5, if you have an average 3-4" per turn.

Drop the termies, add in the 135 spare points and start working on units.

A chappy added to one of the units will help alot, since he adds a nice punch and his rules will help.
Add another unitof bikes.
possibly add in more attack bikes if possible.

Heh, I'm not sure how well you guys will take this, but (like I said) I was only focusing on that last 135 points.

The rest of the list is sticking, because:
A. The termies are done and look damn awesome.
B. I have a thought experiment that needs some real experience.
C. The rest of the bikers have been assembled are 'set' just waiting for greenstuff lovin'.

So I had set the parameters beforehand, it looks really really bad, but working with what I have, what would be the best use of the remaining points.

Sorry if i wasn't clear on my intent before.

Well, if you are going to use a dread you need either the lascannon or a drop pod, dreads with armour 12 or even 13 will pop if focused on by your opppenent. I would look at switching your captain for Khan, give all those bikes outflanking, and if you heart is set on termies, deep strike once he has bikes in his face and hope for the best scatter, fair warning bad roll will see a huge point sink at best taken out of posistion to do anything in the game, at worst die horriblly with a mishap.

Multi-Melta Attack Bikes.
Multi-Melta Attack Bikes.
Hvy Bolter Attack Bikes.

How many Bikes per squad?

Its a tough choice.
I'd consider either a Librarian w/ terminator armor, possibly storm shield, nullzone and whatnot,
or an Ironclad possibly drop podded.

Sorry, editted, max squad sizes.
Libby in T armor: 5 points short
Ironclad in Pod: 35 points short

Yea, 135 is not alot to work with, hence the list of options I put up.

If i do go with a libby, he'll most likely on a bike.
If I go with the Ironclad, he'd just be stock...hiding in reserves hoping for something to charge when he enters the game....yup, not a great use, I know.
