Where can I find some conversion commissioners? It seems they're really hard to find and I've only been able to find a handful on google, however they all seem inactive and haven't replied for quite some time.

It all depends on what you want to commission and in what sort of time-frame you expect it to be finished

I might be interested, but it depends on the above 2 factors (limited free time because of long work hours)

I'm currently looking for someone to convert an Alpha Tyranid Warrior and Broodlord for some concept art that I saw. Timeframe doesn't really need to be done asap, I'd just like them for the Tyranid release coming up soon because I'm going to build a Tyranid army. If you'd like you can pm me for more details.

There are some commisioners on here so you may be able to find what your looking for by asking on dakka. As a painting commisioner I know the best way to get a commisioners intrest would be to give as much information on as you can about what you want. If you tell us what your looking for they're will probably be someone willing to do it.

Its worth checking out the troll forge forums.
You will find there is an endless supply of people who will do commission work for you.
Keep in mind though, services are not allways cheap.

You will find a commission sculpter will ask for anything from $200 - $500 per model.
You may find them for cheaper, but this was just going on what ive found.

The Broodlord concept I have is this one right here. Only exception is that I don't like the two tendrils coming out of its neck area.




The Tyranid Alpha Warrior concept I have in mind is a bit based off of this character. I like the quad legs going on, and plus the armor coming off of them which is already similar to the armor on like the 4th Edition Monstrous scything talons. As for the body I'd like it to be a normal warrior top with magnetic arms so I can swap weapons and builds as I please. I'd also want a pair of boneswords for him which I imagine need to be scratch built with bits. The head...I'm not too sure about what kind of head I'd want but I'm learning either towards another feeder tendril head, a red terror like head, or a tyrant guard head. Basically I'm looking for a four legged Warrior kind of on legs like this with armor, with a warrior body top and one of the aforementioned heads with magnetized weapons.



Also I don't think I can really afford to spend in excess of like $200 for just two models as I still need to buy my Tyranid Army XD.
