The Fallen Realm of Umbar

I got a pair of new Logitech speakers today and I cannot get them working on my computer however if I plug in an iPod or use a sound test, they work. Any thoughts?

Windows Vista 64-bit
Realtek HD Audio Manager

EDIT: Itunes works as well, other programs don't
