http://privateerpress.com/warmachine/gallery/the-protectorate-of-menoth/warcasters/vice-scrutator-vindictus

No Menite alive is as concerned for the fate of heathen souls as Vice Scrutator Vindictus. Where others among the Protectorate see only a faceless sea of heretics, Vindictus sees potential devotees of the True Faith. Where others preach with words, Vindictus communicates with agony. The holy zealots who follow this unforgiving priest fight with the strength of fanatics and martyrs, adding to their own numbers with each strike. Vindictus travels far from the Protectorate’s borders, raising armies loyal to the Lawbringer and turning them against any of their countrymen foolish enough to resist the will of Menoth.

Vice Scrutator Vindictus comes in a blister (PIP 32063). A player may field one Vice Scrutator Vindictus in his Protectorate of Menoth army.

Finally, another priest for the Menites. He looks rather insectile...

Who sculpted that? I was interested until I saw the model below the waist and spied his spindly, uber-length legs...

The slightly knock-kneed pose seems to suggest that he's having trouble standing up under the weight of that huge breastplate...

I think that, by and large, Privateer's earlier characters were better than the current crop. They seem to be steadily turning into charicatures...

He's a priest. I'm okay with the knock knees.

And further information from PPS Simon:

He's not really Severius' replacement. Prior to his ascension as Hierarch, Severius held the rank of Grand Scrutator. Vindictus is merely a Vice Scrutator and may have trouble advancing within those ranks as he spends more time preaching to the heathens than politicking in Imer.

I like it! It's odd, to be sure, but he at least looks human. Human under a MASSIVE breastplate. Kind of a neat look!

I like it. It has sort of a surreal quality to it, although it doesn't really break anatomy. Looks like a character that would show up in a Dali painting.

He looks...odd. The stick figure helps a lot, but he just looks weird. He looks almost like an alien of some kind with that breast plate. And does he have a flail and a sword?

Surreal is exactly it. There's a kind of Blache-esque vibe to it that I quite appreciate.

He's awesome. Very strange, but awesome. And you'll be able to spot him for a few feet away when he's standing amidst his grunts, unlike most of the recent uber-generic casters.

While I think the model is actually pretty cool, every time I look at it I see Humpty Dumpty. That upper armor just reminds me of an egg.

Really interesting aesthetic they went for. Kudos to PP for designing unique and different miniatures that don't follow the same old pattern and style.

In many ways it reminds me of something from rackham or infinity.

Reminds me of the 'mundochiwa'(sp) from The 5th Element. Those strange powerarmoured aliens.

I like it. The proportions are right, but the pose of the legs being so close together do make the guy look a bit top-heavy. Its better than the new butcher models in terms of proportions anyway. I think miniature designers should do a pose sketch like the one you posted Mal, they could learn a lot from their own designs.

Chiming in with the flock that find this model wonderful. I'm tired of every fig looking like Arnold Schwazenegger, even intellectuals or spiritual advisors. The odd proportions do look like an illustration from Lewis Carrol, which is a great thing. And the egg-shaped armor really adds to both the interesting proportions and the anti-musclehead style.

Reminds me more of Rackham's better stuff than regular PP.

Except most of the recent casters are folk who are described as just plain generic...

Caine? Generic gun-mage, only thing that really makes him stand out is his talents. I'm pretty sure talent can't be conveyed in sculpting.
Irusk? Generic kommandant, again only thing that really makes him stand out is his natural aptitude.

The only real ones I can see that "stand out" are Vlad, the Cryx casters, the Menoth casters(due to their fondness for ignoring the ideal of "Blending in with the rank and file makes you a much less snazzy target" ) and assorted Hordes characters.

No love for fat man with Axe?

Caine has two pistols. None of the other gun mages currently have two. That and he
wears a raggedy trenchcoat instead of the military issue coat of the Arcane Tempest
because he's something of a ne'er do well. Or at least, so he behaves, which frees him
up to work for Rebald.

Irusk has a funny hat. Good commanders can command. Great commanders get a
funny hat.

Nemo is wearing a freaking Tesla Coil.

Haley is all cybernetic in epic form.

The Coven are leggy witches who surround a floating ball.

Terminus is big. With wings. Big sword. Shame about the pimp hand.

Love the model to be honest, even if it has spindly legs and a top-heavy torso.

Anyways, here's the sketch for Vindictus by a person who's presumably the designer for the models. His username is cwalton73, at deviantART anyways.

I must admit, the last stuff I can readily access(background wise) is Escalation. I remember Terminus and the Coven, I remember Nemo(but still don't really see him as anything *too* exciting), and I remembered Haley had cybernetics.

But you do have to admit that most, if not all of Cygnar and Khador's warcasters are really quite similar to the rank and file, just a bit...gussied up or with a few disparities, the twin pistols for example.

I'm not sure if it was intentional(if it was, kudos to Privateer. Cygnar is one of my favorite factions just because of how uniform an army can look) or not, but...
I'm waiting to see if they ever release plastic infantry. The day Trenchers go plastic is the day I enter the world of Warmachine.
