Hello all, I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas.

As a sort of new years reseloution I've decided to 'tidy up' my Dark Eves, basing them, expanding etc. and the one thing that makes the army look really messy is the one-headed hydra lurking at the back (god i HATE that kit). Does anyone know an alternate non-metal model, the scale of normal WHFB models?? Even a kid's toy thing??

Dungeons and Dragons range are all plastic, so might be more hydras in the range.

From what I've seen, it looks just about right, maybe a little on the small side, I'd recommend getting two, then sticking all the heads onto one body and bulking the body up a bit. Maybe you could get some flesh hounds and stick the heads onto that? That could work looking at how thin the WHFB Hydra is.

That's the one i dont like becasue it's hard to assemble. Im looking for an alternative of the one you've shown me.

@lunahound. How big is it compared to a normal hydra, and how much is it? And where cound i find the one in the army picture?

Correct me if im wrong, but that huge thing is a Mcfarlane dragon.

If you want one on a chariot base, could allways go with the previous plastic dragon, minus the wings.
Just cast up the head and neck sections.

Reaper's new hydra is dreadful awesome, but the one posted above is really affordable. Check'em out.

That Mcfarlane Hydra is around... W 38.5cm x H 28cm x D 30cm

Compared to GW , its... HUGE , how much is it?
Well you lucky AMERICANS since you get low shipping within USA... its like $35 -_- + $9 shipping

And the reaper hydra is about half the size of the GW one.
