Howdy there everyone. I've posted for help before, and this is more of an update.

So far, my list has varied because I'm still getting used to Orks. I wanted to post another list to see what you guys think of it. Here it goes!

In an ideal world, the KFF Mek would stay in a Trukk with one of the two boys squads that only has 10 + Nob. The Warboss would do the same. They would stay close enough that the KFF would be usable on all of them, so they all got the cover save. The Deffkoptas would outflank to get those hard to reach spots.

What do you guys think? Sorry I can't elaborate very much. I've worked two doubles in a row... and another morning shift today so I'm pretty much out of it.

My two cents:

You don't like powerklaws on your nobs? I'd say take'em. Str 9 on the charge is as good as several lascannon shots 1. against tanks / dreadnoughts / monstrous creatures 2. it's great for slicing through power armour 3. you're forcing insta-death on most characters / nobs / lictors etc.

Also, as mechanised orks at 750 pts you're already light on troops. My advice is to cut the warboss and maximize the trukk mobs + pay for the PKs. I rarely need two HQ choices at 750 pts, and your nobs n' boyz should do alright in close combat already.

what point level are you looking at for this army?
i would not run the Deffkoptas unless you are going for a 2k list.
trukks have paper armor so i would not run a HQ in one. your best bet would be to drop him in a battlewagon and dont take him out.
this is how i do it.
B=battlewagon T=trukk

B B B
KFF
T T T
so your mek is in the mid front battlewagon and your trukks are behind the front 14 armor of the wagons.

This list is simply using the models that I have. I still need to make some purchases, which I plan to do with my Christmas money/the money that I got from selling off my Eldar army.

Also, it's not that I don't like PKs, it's just that I don't have them. I need to get some bits to make them... maybe just use Biovore arms! Haha.

This list is a building list that I'm planning to get to around 2k+

well slap some PKs on your nobs and a buzsaw on your Deffkoptas to make it a 1k army and you will do ok till you get more stuff.
oh and your trukks need some rams. i love them because if can tank shock after dropping of the boyz.

I'll be able to do the rams, as I'm using old Chaos Rhinos that I'm going to break the tops off of and throw a gunner in there.

I'll try to get some PKs goin somehow. Maybe I'll just buy the bits.

well if the guys you play with dont care you can just say all your nobz have PKs. now if you get a boyz box it comes with 1 PK so if you are planning on buying more boyz you will be set.

Try looking on the Waagh website,thay have some "how to scratch build power klaws" tutorials using plasticard and bitz off the ork boyz sprue.

Your warboss is not needed with this mechlist. If you do run a warboss, then HE NEEDS EAVY ARMOUR AND CYBORK BODY.

I like where you are going with it. At low points like you listed, its rather hard to do a battlewagon, but well worth it. Here is a 750 for your consideration. If you like it, and would like my suggestions for as you expand in points just PM me! Anyway, here goes:

I tried out that list tonight, and I think it would have been MUCH more effective if my Battlewagon hadn't gotten immobilized on the first turn and trapped my two Trukks behind it... Damn Bright Lances!
