Hey Guys

Taking a break from my KoS...decided to paint this little guy to improve my painting skills. Started on painting the pants for now and after a few hours ended up like so. Decided to go for a leather style pants.

One of my major set backs are contrast....so let me know if I'm headed into the right direction, in addition to what I can do to make it better. If pics are not showing all to well, let me know and I'll get my lazy bum up to take a better one ;P

Thanks

what a stunning model. The pants are looking good, and the photos are very nice (tho, the 3rd one seems redundant).

What's gonna get some paint next?

Most likely the hood and cloak will be next....for some reason I tend to start from bottom and work to the top on most of my figures (helps with the whole thing I guess).

What do you guys think I should color them....boney white or go some where along greyish black?

Oh, here and there.

Wow, the brown in the folds of the cape look fantastic. Very well done, and nicely shaded!

That's impressive blending work, I wouldn't of thought of painting him brown.

Reminds me, I should paint mine sometime.

Thanks for the comments guys.

And yes it is going a tad slowly...and I could be changing up the cape a bit....add a little more contrast...looking at it now, the model kinda looks monochrome in color. So expect a bit of a change in the color scheme. Hopefully I can get this guy done in a few weeks

Alright been a while (been busy at the restaurant), but started to work on the little guy again. And again noticed some mold lines....so after some bravering (if thats even a word) to file the cape and removing some of the paint and mold lines, I went on in brightening the inner cape. That's how much I was able to get done this weekend. Hopefully more work can be done on his outer cape next week.

Again let me know if I am going in the right direction in what I hope I would be able to accomplish at the end with this piece.

Thanks
