Let's see 'em!

For me, I'm taking a leisurely yet persistent tack regarding my horde.

1 Ork Boy/Nob a day (week days) until all of my primered yet unpainted boyz are done.

Only thing I got to do for now is to primer up a sister of battle and Sicarius, if the weather lets me, and then paint them. Again, this is if first the weather, then school will give me enough time to work on them.

Same goal Ive had for months... try to finish my FW Chaos Dragon although its getting close now and in addition to that Id like to have started painting my FW WarMammoth whenever that arrives and gets built..

Continue the grind of 100+ gaunts to paint in antipation for the new Tyranid codex

Paint up my last battle company.

Figure out a colour scheme for my warpbeasts.
Add the final touches to my beastmaster. I'm counting this as 'good enough', the tweeks are only things like doing smoother blending on the dead guardsman on the base. I can be pedantic once the rest of my painting is done.
Find a camera to take photos of my army. <-- Partial. A bit of army photographed, at least.
See if I can come up with a better colour scheme for my wyches, especially my currently horrible jetbike riders.
Finish painting my first raider.

Extra credit: finish converting wyches (not going to happen, I need some more bitz and that probably means a box of DE corsairs).

Should be a very busy month:
I have a lot from Christmas/Birthday left over I need to get done:
- Finish painting FW Pre-Heresy Land Raider (just need to do the metallics and detail work)
- Paint 5 Terminators
- Paint Honour Guard
- I also have a Predator, Vindicator, Combat Squad, Attack Bike and some Cities of Death buildings to do, but those aren't as important.

Then, for my Tyranids:
- Assemble and at least start painting FW Scythed Hierodule (can't wait)
- Finish painting at least one Warrior Brood
- Paint 1 Lictor
- Assemble the ton of stuff I've ordered (Hive Tyrant, 2 Tyrant Guard, 2 Zoanthropes, Genestealers, 2 Boxes of Warriors, Broodlord, Raveners, Mawloc). I highly doubt all that will be done by end of the month, but I want to at least get started on it.

I also need to get hold of a camera to take pictures at some point- not that my painting is spectacular or anything.

Now that I have the base colors on my 1850 Ork list I need to do the detail painting and work on the six armor in the list.

So that is:
Wash and detail painting of fifty-five Orks, two Battlewagons, one trukk and three killa kans.

Bring my Tyranids up to suitable standards for the new codex.
Estimations:
Retrofit 7 Warriors with Boneswords, 1 into an Alpha.
Retroconvert a Carnifex into a Hive Tyrant.
Retrofit 8 Genestealers with Tox.
Buy/Build/Paint 24 Toxigaunts (Hormagaunts w. Tox).
Buy/Build/Paint a Trygon.
Buy/Build/Paint 3 Hive Gaurd.
Plans Subject to change.

If the funds allow:

1) Finish Leman Russ Squadron
2) Finish Senital Squadron


If time permits:

Make my guard look cohesive instead of each squad having its own camo pattern and armor color.

I actually need to do something this year..


Paint up 500pts+ of addtional Marines
Get all my extra Razorbacks + 3 Land Raiders and Drop Pods enough to do an entire drop podded army
Paint up my Orks Plus Skullhamma
Paint my Starting block of Skaven
Paint up my Catachan Jungle Fighters
plus buy 17 Valkyries as it has an airbourne theme....

Booking holiday now....

Finish AoBR and make the basis for my growing nid army.

I've got to put together 2 more Assault Marines (waiting for a few bitz) assemble 4 Drop Pods, and a Predator, once the dozer blade and extra armor kit comes in from FW.

Once thats done, I'll have to paint my entire Space Marine force, including:

-1 Comander
-1 Librarian
-1 Command Squad
-2 Tac Squads (minus 3 marines I have painted)
-1 8 man Assault Squad
-1 8 man Devastator Squad
-2 Scout Squads
-3 Scout Bikes
-1 Land Speeder
-1 Ironclad Dreadnought
-1 Whirlwind
-1 Predator
-5 Drop Pods

That's 50 infantry and 12 vehicles. At least I've got everything that's assembled at Primer Company status at least.

Also, I need to collect a few more kits to complete my army:

-1 Land Speeder
-2 Scout Bikes
-1 Techmarine on Bike
-1 Dreadnought
-1 Tac squad
-2 Drop Pods

I doubt I'll have all of that done by the end of the month. I have my work cut out for me...

I have a bit to do this year.

Finish painting my Gondor Army for War of the Ring.

Collect, Built and Paint my Death Guard Army.

Paint all my Space Hulk Models.

Still i managed to do last years ok, I have now painted all my Warriors of Chaos, Dwarf Blood Bowl Team and build a gaming board in the attic.

Take it easy

Its a long list, but im making realistic goals.

Three squads of eight bloodletters- all are primed very few are painted red
Ten flesh hounds - assembled thats all

Ralisticly thats all that is going to get done this month, the week long trip to cali isnt going to help my painting get done at all.

prime and paint :

2 monoliths
12 warriors
1 destroyer

Hopefully finish painting up 7 Genestealers (to have a total of 8 finished) and my classic Zoanthropes.

1 Marshal with power weapon and plasma pistol.

10 Black Templar Troops.

1 Land Speeder

Finish:
3 Attack Bikes
20 SM Bikes

Finish my Rhino diorama.

1x Valkyrie
1x Lightning Fighter

Start painting my eldar army. (All of the models, blagh procrastination.)

I'm gona try and get a 1500pt daemonhunters army done by the end of the month.

With possibly 4 land raiders, should be fun.

Obviously PAINTED is the key-word, as I find I'm getting much better in my ability to paint, but I'm getting lazier (I can paint much better, but I cannot paint as many models as I used to)

Reading your posts is a bit intimidating. I would have to be an insomniac, childless and find myself unemployed to get all that done! Ha Ha! Hmmmm, that is sounding goodright about now as I have to paint to an award winning standard:

All by the end of the month for the Tourney presumably on the 31st (the date hasn't been officially released), and thank fully they all have colour on them (aside from the objectives of course). Ugh! Could use a mental commitment for a bit. think they let you bring minis and paint into the Ward?

I've just finished converting a Catachan HQ/Squad for my veterans, the goal of the month is to get them painted and based.

Kick the global recession in the teeth and get a new job.

I'm magnetizing my pred too. - half way through got to finish that and my razorback.

Finish off assualt squad and thunderfire.
Then I can start on Sicarius and his command squad. Then I'll have my first 1500 SM army
