I always thought he was supposed to be a 40k Snake Eyes.

So, that's now three Assasins that are only available to the Loyalists. Any chance of a little something for the other side? Like maybe a certain PDF?

Yep -

(There was also this female one, but I don't think she was as widely released).

It's a nice homage. Kinda wish they'd retained something like the shoulder pads and/or the clawed feet thing. It's a bit bland as it is (and I'm usually very much a 'less is more' guy when it comes to the amount of detail or 'bling' on a sculpt).

Oh cool, first we get the announcement of a new Deadpool movie and now we get a matching model. Kind of funny that they're going back to the edgy black X-Men costumes from twenty years ago instead of embracing the more colorful outfits from the modern MCU. Kind of boring. But okay, it's not like we're bound by GW's official color scheme.

Clade Adamus? I wonder what their story is except those few sentences on WARCOM.

Was just about to say the same. A nice callback, honestly! I like it.

I love the Assassin model, but I'm curious what's going to separate it rules wise from the Callidus and Eversor.

So anyone think that the "last loyalist assassin" line in the article is hinting at traitor assassins?

It is probable because they said there will be 8 Clades, and we only had 6 known ones plus the Adamus now. It would leave the 8th Clade which could be a Traitor one.

Honestly I think they couldn't decide if they wanted to parody Deadpool or Snake Eyes from GI Joe.

Efficiency is the highest virtue.

Hmm, lovely tribute but should have kept the shoulder pads indeed, a bit bland as it is. Just a generic ninja, a bit disappointing and I agree it's going to be hard to differentiate him from the eversor for example.

The assassins aren’t bad per se, they just don’t appear to add anything to what we already had.

At least the Eversor has a fancy skull mask. Apart from a rifle, there's very little setting him apart from a Vindicare

The Vindicare model before the latest ones even had a version rocking a pistol

That was my thought too (although didn’t realise this was a reimagined RT model, so the design at least makes sense).

Callidus and Eversor both have weapons that do multiple small damage attacks. Hopefully this new guy will have less attacks but that do more damage per swing.

Since this is an assassin who learns from their enemies, maybe they become more deadly as the game goes on?

It's better than clawed feet. The RT assassin had geta and tabi (or flip flops and socks if you want to be less presumptuous). I painted mine with white socks and red slippers.

That would be an interesting mechanic, but that would be dependent on how deadly 30k is for the dude to last even two turns.
