I'm starting up a long-term multi-format Imperial Guard Project which will involve BFG, Epic, 40K & Inquisitor and I've just ordered my first BFG models from the GW website

What I wanted to know-

Do the ships come with different weapon options when you buy them? (I bought an Emperor-Class Battleship & 2 Imperial Cruisers)

How are the Imperial Fury Interceptors supposed to be based? Can they go 5-models each on a standard warhammer base?

This project is more about attempting to collect and paint an entire crusades-worth of IG through all 4 formats, but I would naturally like to get a few games of all formats in while collecting, so I would ideally like to make sure the things I am assembling are 'game-legal'

Thanks,

The ships do come with different options, basically gun batteries, lance decks, and launch bays that can be fitted onto the sides of the ships (2 per cruiser, 3 per battleship). Which pallettes you use determine which class of cruiser/battlecruiser/battleship you have.

interceptors (Furies) traditionally go 5 to a stand, and bombers 3 per, but you can do whatever you like really.

You don't really need miniatures for fighters and bombers unless you really want them. Personally I just use tokens that are included in the boxed game, and if you don't have that you could easily make your own or find a suitable substitute online.
