The Thunder Hawk Gunship has been reported to be created! They Just made the plastics for it expect it sometime this year. This is according to some of the people at my Local Gaming Store. I was Intrested in it so i thought i might tell you about it. It has also come to my attention of many other new things coming out. But i forget them. of Course these people might be load of Orcs. Do you think its true or not?

I'd so much rather see a plastic warhound if they are doing a large imperial plastic kit. The thunderhawk model just looks like a huge ugly lego creation to me.

I guess any big plastic kits is good news, so I congratulate GW for giving their customers what they want, but I'd soooo love a plastic warhound.

Good news regardless.

I've heard the Blood Angels will have some type of lander/pod that is based off the front end of the TH, so I would give this a "very plausible".

Two things:

A while back someone took footage of someone putting something Thunderhawk-y together at Warhammer World. It was on plastic sprues. The footage was later removed from BoLS.

There's some sort of Lander rumoured for the Blood Angels.

This gives us two possible conclusions:

1. A Thunderhawk is coming (as seen at Warhammer World), along with the Lander.
2. What has been seen/rumoured to be a Thunderhawk is actually the Tantulus Lander, everyone just assumed it was a Thunderhawk.

Or everyone's wrong and there's no such thing.

Remember how GW said they weren't releasing Space Hulk and then did? And people thought it was all sorts of stupid ideas, but it was really just Space Hulk?

I think its impossible for it to be a Thunder Hawk , if anything , a War Hound titan is more possible in every aspect.

Because we all know GOLD sword situation would be awful if applied on TH.

A plastic Thunderhawk would be beyond awesome. And let's be honest... probably make GW a crap ton of money considering it could be used by all loyalist SMs of all stripes. I'm very dubious of this rumor, but I can't say that I wouldn't be completely stoked if they finally got around to releasing one.

Maybe they'll threaten to sack staff for mentioning it in Oz like they did last time.

And, aside from 40K outselling Warhammer, why does 40K get these huge kits? I mean... there's a Giant, and a Dragon... but that's it for fantasy really. Are there any cool huge things Fantasy players are pining for?

Well, what else in Fantasy is really big enough to justify a super awesome Apocalypse style mega kit?

I have to say, that's the weakest use of the word "confirmed" I've seen on these forums in a while. It's right up there with "a bloke in the pub told me...", and that's terrible.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

I can confirm that this rumor is true.

I have a friend who once once fixed the car of the janitor who mops up the food court next to the GWS store in the mall, and he saw it.

It comes with 2 Squat pilots and 4 Squat gunners.

Now quick! Let's repeat it a few more times - maybe make a few similar threads - and a week from now BoLS will report it as fact!

I think this thread basically has no real info. It isn't even that much of a rumor. At least nothing new (note warhammer world sighting references as seen in previous threads).

And I think that if GW ever does bring out a Thunderhawk, they will have missed the boat with the timing - it would always have been best release alongside with Planetstrike.

Planetstrike itself might get expansions like Apoc did. You never know. Actually... probably not. GW forgot about Planetstrike the month after its release.

Sorry to sound cynical, but I'd definitely class this as "wishful thinking." I got excited, until I actually read the original post.

I think that some evidence of this, apart from "someone in my flgs told me that they'd seen it..." would be nice.

Still, hope it is true...if they can and actually do make a plastic Thunderhawk, then a Warhound would have to be a possibility...

I think a Warhound makes the most sense - it can be used by many armies, can be converted into all sorts of things, and would just be a great big 'Imperial' thing to act as a counter-part to the Stompa.

Thunderhawk's a little too specific, as much as I want one.

I wouldn't call a Thunderhawk too specific, Marines outnumber the rest of the Imperium by quite a bit.

And a Warhound could be used by all Space Marines, IG, and Chaos Marine players. A much larger base to sell to, so if we're speaking economically it would make sense to do the Warhound over the Thunderhawk.

No I don't think there is any validity in this rumour at all.

That's what I think.
