Hi everyone its my first time doing a blog dont know if its in the right place or what not but im doing a
renegade guard army this is what iv got at the mo

Chaos Marauder Horsemen x 2 boxes
hellhound
and from forge world
renegade conversion sets x 7
renegade icon
renegade pyskers
renegade command
can you guys and girls give me sum ideas on colors or how to improve my army thanks and pic will be up soon

I've got my own rebel guard platoon which I did quite some time ago, Catachan models, all cut up, not the best painting, but I gave them dead white skin and covered in ritual scars, then gave each man a Space Marine Shoulder pad on their left arm with a chaos symbol on it.

Recently I found a box of 20 plastic Cadians (back when you got 20 Cadians in a box instead of 10!) and started converting them to rebel guardsmen, removed all the eagles and stuck on bits and pieces from my bits box from when I collected Vampire Counts...

I love the idea of the Chaos Marauder Knights, I assume they'll be Renegade Rough Riders.

For colours, look at Chaos Marines, if you're going with Chaotic renegades, decide which god or gods are guiding the cult (there are many more than just the main four chaos gods, feel free to be creative if you don't see what you like) or if you're going with a breakaway faction of the imperium, choose a simple guard colour, greens and browns work well.

Let us know what kind of army you envisage this being, whether you will be using the Imperial Guard codex or something else (there are army lists out there for Chaos Cultists, you might be considering that as a base for your units) and we can let you know how the army will shape up.

Thanks it's for adepticon. I wanted to build one out of plasticard much like dave taylors, but I was moving at the time and money was tight. I look forward to seeing your stuff, and welcom to dakka.
