That's a good horse. Very horse-like.

"Body horror' is a genre of basically messed-up and mixed up bodies. If you've seen the new "Colour Out of Space" the mother/child scene is basically body horror. Or the classic "The Thing".

There's been a tend lately of illustrations of all the different types of 'centaur' possibilities- horse head human body, human hands instead of hooves, etc...

Seems like it was just a jest or observation with no context

I love all the extra bits and the hands that aren't holding weapons. You can do a lot of cool stuff with this kit.

For more complex kits like this, it would be cool if WA had an instruction on their website which arms fit together and where some small parts go.
I can't make out yet what the 10 tiny things on the bottom right are or where the small sling (?) Down left would go.

Might all not be a problem with the final sprue in hand, but I really welcome some numeric coding on the sprue for pairs of parts, like victrix do, for example.

I had a bit of trial and error to get my RaumJaeger arms to fit right. So I would welcome a letters on the sprue system.

Same here with the Les Grognards. It was easy once I put a few together to figure out which arms go together, but it wasn't obvious at first.

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/1/23, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~15000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Adeptus Custodes: ~1900 | Imperial Knights: ~2000 | Sisters of Battle: ~3500 | Leagues of Votann: ~1200 | Tyranids: ~2600 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000

The Grognards heavy weapons had some quite puzzling pieces...

Worst offenders in that category we're Fireforge's Folk Rabble. I still haven't found out how to do some of the two handed poses...

That's a nice kit. Depending on the scale, it'd make a nice home for my remaining Harlem Hellfighter heads.

I think Stargrave has letters on the flat part of the arm where it joins the body. Really useful if you cut them off and play mix and match later.

Why is that Chauchat so tiny?

That thing is supposed to be 1.2 meters long, yet on both art and minis it's AK sized. These guys would need orangutan arms to casually grab them by the bipod mount (and gorilla strength to fire it one handed without even bracing the buttstock):

Im looking at possibly ordering 5 boxes - 1 for Blood & Valor, 1 for Bolt Action, remaining 3 for Sludge/Turnip conversions (and to fill in holes for Bolt Action/Blood & Valor with leftovers, etc.).

Might need to grab a couple more boxes, just in case.

Now if only they would launch preorders for Conquistadors...

I'm eagerly awaiting the two Conquistador sets. It could be a while though. I think I painted the prototypes of the WW1 French around January.

Wasn't there some issue with the Conquistador set forcing them to remake it, thus explaining why it seems to take ages to come out?

Do we have any idea when the conquistadors drop? Theyll be perfect for making an empire army for Warhammer fantasy when it drops

It's a great idea, but some of them don't come out very clearly. :-)

I'm sure the WWI Germans had letters on the sprue for the matching arms.

Looks 'aight, still not a fan of the jumpsuit aesthetic. Could've put some webbing on 'em.

The jumpsuits work for all kinds of Sci fi roles. I’m thinking of painting some black, with colored shoulders, such as red for command or yellow for security…

The spare gun arms can go on some Grognards with German gas mask heads for that death corps look.

The lack of webbing could be a deliberate design choice.

The background for the Cannon Fodder suggests that they're not going to have much money spent on kitting them out.

The number of rifles with bayonets fixed indicates they're ready to go close combat as soon as that one magazine runs out.

I do like the hodge podge approach to the back packs. each soldier is carrying what they've managed to scrounge from previous battles.

Fortunately, the bits box can provide if I want to kit them out further.

Three boxes please...for starters.
